I couldn't get this mod working either, crashed when i was gonna buy the car. So what about the main.bnk file? I replaced the TVR Tuscan S...

How about any good sounds for this car? RT12 would fit maybe, as it has a clear turbo sound.

VERY good mod otherwise, but the interior needs some work :/

    my game crashed..........

You havent fixed the map file then. When the game crashes after a new mod it usually means that the mod you have replaced is a larger filesize than the original file, and TDU doesn't like this. But with DJey's TDU Modding Tools, there is a feature (and a bloody good one at that) which will "fix" the map file so you can have modifications that are larger in size.

Search for TDU Modding Tools, and you will learn much more about it.

On second thought... That program is surely good but it's too complicated for my brain to learn by my own -.-

So why don't he include the bnk1.map file in the next release? It's only 166 kb...

Also, do the files have to be exactly the same, cause it won't work if the original files are smaller, but does it work if the original files are bigger than the mod files?

^^ make sure "Advanced" is selected (That activates the advanced features)

^^ Click "Map Tool" (This opens up a window)

Geez :D I was certainly not expecting that much help :D Usually ppl on these forums are "not nice guys" and would have to be threatened to death before they help anyone with anything :P

Oh well, thank you a lot! :D

The same thing goes for installing other cars too right? IF they don't work directly.

the map file fix thing, works for pretty much all cars, and when DJey discovers something new about the files, he will update the map-key.xml file. Soon you may even be able to have any car you want, in ultra high detail
Just to announce that I've stopped searching for new id's. It's too boring.

So please now consider using the patched Bnk1.map (magic-map) instead. See the official TDU Modding Tools thread to download it.
