It's name starts with an S and yes it reminds a bit of Mustang from the early '80s but u r all very far away from the answer.

Next hint. I said it's from American continent, not from US ;) I won't tell u which country it is, but when it was revealed in '76 it was one of the most expensive and technically most progressive car there...

It definitely looks like chinese monster called JAC, not sure about the model name, but it's a spooky mixture between Chrysler 300C and Mercedes E-class. They match 99% I'd say.
