I can't say that you need or don't need it, but I recommend downloading it anyway. Sooner or later you will come across mods which does need it. :) Just remember to back-up files first. ;)

For this mod, you don't need the magic bnk. But as Andreaz said, you will one day find a mod you love, and needs the magic bnk.
