Annoying brake sound

Would it be possible to remove the tire squeel noise when braking? In the game, the tires clearly do not lock up at all during braking so why the noise? Its really annoying.

 

Would it be possible? And stilll have the sounds for when you slide sidways or accelerate hard?

If you brake hard enough, it is technically possible to here screeching.

 

A hard brake only gets "chirping" from the tires - not a "Shelby Cobra doing a burnout" tire squel. :p I agree, though, this should be fixed (but hopefully without messing up "turning" tire squel.

when i was still pounding round oahu i used to get annoyed at that tire squeel, specially when you were just coming to a stop, doing 20 ish MPH and then hit the brakes and the tyr'es STILL screech.

I found the problem !

 

I just replace the nsx(something)**.wav sound in the common.bnk by the BNK file editor :)

Hi everyone, i've just downloaded the BNK editor and i'm trying to get rid of the annoying gear shift up sound but i can see any file in the common.bnk that is called NSX or whatever it was .. any help much appreciated!!

Yeah.. That sound when shifting, is pretty annoying. But it's nice that the tires dont say anything anymore..

When i DL'd this one i thought that since this one removes the screech i would never need the old one anymore so i didn't make a backup, but since it has that damn shifting sound i kind of would like to have the other one back :P
