Is It Compatible On TDU Platinum?
    1 point
  1. Introduction After editing by hand some sectors for the next update of Project Paradise, I thought it could be nice to create a proper map editor for TDU. After all, that's the only part of the game which has never been modded before. :) (and yes, next pp update should come soon, so less pm spam everyone thanks ) Description Even if it's called "Editor", this tool is a toolbox to export your files in your favorite 3D editor (maya, 3DS max, blender,... any editor as long as it's compatible with .obj) and obviously do the opposite. :p This choice as been made simply because I didn't want to make the usage of a cheap and badly written 3D editor an obligation. :D .obj has a pretty basic structure making easy to build an object from nothing. Features Heightmap Creation/Import/Export Material Editor World Objects Creation/Import/Export Road Collision Support (Havok *-R.shk) World Collision Support (Havok *.shk) Entities Management Soundscape Edition Wire Editor Map Network Editor Security Ramp Editor Green: done / almost done Orange: in progress Brown: just started / researches Red: todo Screenshots Terrain Edition Fast and clean heightmap edition (note: only the Y-axis is used by the game) Untextured/Textured heightmap World Object Edition Imported Untextured Object from a *-O.3DG (some oil station) Imported Road Network from a -O.3DG with a bit of Havok vertex (yellow dots) Terrain, world objects, havok collision mesh Havok Mesh in Editor, Havok Mesh Exported to TDU (early test) Custom low poly mesh (edited plane) exported as Havok Collision Mesh World Object Import (W.I.P.) World Objects with custom pivot point Basic Material Editor Download Test Drive Unlimited World Editor V0.04 Changelog *Objects Import/Export *UI update *Now using collada *Complete and detailed user guide inside the archive Download V0.04 Old Version Test Drive Unlimited World Editor V0.03 Test Drive Unlimited World Editor V0.02 Test Drive Unlimited World Editor V0.01 I'll try to keep the thread updated as often as I can. Opened to suggestions / Q&A / testing (dont ask for that yet :cheeky:) / ...

  2. Hello guys, I am Ztryka and this is my first file upload for TDU. Its a 100% TDU save file (tested and works with Original TDU and TDU Platinum) What's in here? + All single player and one multiplayer achievements accomplished! + Ace rank guaranteed in TDU Platinum! + All 399 clothes bought (except one helmet because of one hitchhiker un-perfect bug) + All houses bought + $15 million dollars to buy your 2nd vehicle, any car/bike guaranteed! + A starting car that works both in original TDU and TDU Platinum. + No cheats/trainers used in creating this file, just profile creation, conversions and tons of hard work! What are the drawbacks? - Its just a guy, no chick or gal file - I sold all the cars except one, to ensure that you create your own car list. - Hitchhiker Brandon course bug. Along with this file includes: - TDUAce100 Savegame Folder - Readme Install - TDU1 Offline to Online Profile Conversion Guide - TDU1 Online to Offline Profile Conversion Guide Race and cruise in O'ahu Paradise, e hau'oli! --- Ztryka --- Sample Screenshots: Shout-out and thanks to Destiny_Unfair_86 and Iced_Bullet for the guides on how to convert save files right here: TDU Mods : Offline & Online Profile Conversions [Tutorials] by Iced_Bullet Download Link:

  4. buy alfa GT, quit game, open TDUPE, open alfa GT, set price to 2 billion, save, go to tdu, sell the alfa, done. optional: change back the price in TDUPE to vanilla

  5. Don't know if you're still looking for a way to increase the money but by default with this savegame when you start it from the download, you should have every house on the island. I'd recommend selling off a few houses to get some more money, as you only start with 1 car to begin with in your garage and realistically you don't need all the houses. Personally I only keep 4 houses. (One in each corner of the map.) The only other way to increase money is to fiddle around with a hex editor, but like Zoqqer says above this can lead to mistakes with dire consequences, if you don't know what you're doing.

  6. With HEX editor perhaps. But it's easy to mess up. For online the simplest solution would be to start over the game. The usernames are unique so it's not possible to make this savegame online out of the box

  7. Can this savegame can be converted into an online one ?

  8. Online does not work. Hardcore mode not selectable from main menu. Used hex editor and attempted online conversion. Still failed. PPU 1.12

  9. For anyone that have 2 very common bugs (shifting gears and ghosting cars on track).. man... i FINALLY found how to FIX the shifting gear problem and Ghost cars !! .. you JUST need to CAP framrate at 89 or 90. Don't go over 90 and you will be fine.. omg.. for so many years i search to fix this... and i just wanted to tell everybody. Why is this fixing? because the game runes on a frame basis rather than time basis. This means the AI calculations are based on how fast your CPU is rather than basing it on a fixed time interval.

  10. Thank you so much for this! Quick question though, is there a way to increase the money?

  11. After deleting the radial.cdb file we would often create a folder with the same name (including .cdb). This would prevent the game from creating that file again. The file was never necessary but often caused game issues after some time.

  12. Hello, I'll do my best to help. Try to delete the Test Drive Unlimited folder in Documents, then start TDU and create a profile and finish the tutorial (until you go to your house part). Then exit the game and copy and paste the profile folder in the newly created Documents TDU Folder. Another way is download this file and paste it in Documents > Test Drive Unlimited > savegame. Like Mr. Crimson said, backup all your profiles first before doing this. EDIT: New method is to try to delete radial.cdb in X: (Usually C:) > ProgramData > Test Drive Unlimited > Uncheck Hide Protected Operating System Files and Check Show Hidden Files to see radial.cdb in the folder > Delete > Start TDU and play the game (Playing the game creates new radial.cdb to fix profile problems.) ProfileList.dat

  13. The ProfileData file needs to overwritten with this profile but make sure you backup all profiles and files in the savegame location. Should work then.
