There was a group of TDU fans who were actually doing this, I have no idea how far along or if the project is still active but with the talent available and sources of funding available there's always a possibility if someone kicks it off. :)

Regarding mods using Project CARS/Unreleased assets. We will not allow these to be posted on here due to the fact that the project is still in development. We did this when TDU2 was in Beta so it's not something we've just decided to do because some of us may be involved with the pCARS project. It's always been our policy to only allow released content. You may think 'what's the difference' or that this is hypocritical considering we allow mods that have been converted from many other titles and such, but at the end of the day all we do is allow them a place to share their work and if a copyright holder requested us to remove something then we would do so and promptly too. To us modding is all about improving the game, keeping it looking good and having folks continue to play it. Obviously it's a grey area in a lot of aspects and some devs will not officially support it but will turn somewhat of a blind-eye. The idiot who rips the models and then tries to sell them for real monies though, they are typically dealt with more severely. This is why you should not pay for any mods that have been converted from another title. I hope you understand our stance on this, thanks.

Hey sfy, long time no see man! How's things? As for your question, nope nothing more is known and recent and sometimes frequent looks around for info and leaks turn up nothing. All we have to go on is that Ivory dev hinting that something is going to be shown at E3 more than likely. It's like bloody 2008/9 all over again! :lol:

Sure there's been many amazing moments in TDU, that's why a number of us are here after all. Aside from those though, share your experiences that have made you smile, laugh or mentally applaud what just happened on the screen. :D

I'm in a bit of a nostalgic trip at the moment and it got me thinking about some great gaming moments I've experienced in the years I've been playing, the one that popped into my head making me create this thread is in the original Metal Gear Solid for the PlayStation 1. Anyone who has played it knows that there are so many great times in that game that this one might seem quite dull compared to some of the others, but for myself this was one moment where I was gob-smacked and couldn't believe it happened. Like many people I loved to tease and annoy the sentry soldiers patrolling the area like having them run around in circles chasing my snow prints or staying still enough for Snake to catch a cold, but this one instance I did something I'd done many many times before and that was putting down a sentry by knocking him out, then hiding under the cargo truck. Normally this would result in the idiot AI walking around and the ALERT timer running down and back to normal. This time though I got the fright of my life as one of the guards bent down and looked under the truck, too which the other guards just started lobbing grenades underneath and dutifully blowing my ass to hell. It doesn't sound much but because it had never happened before it was so unexpected that I was completely taken aback by it. The same sort of thing happened again another time when I was crawling inside the ventilation coming up to an exit when a sentry while just patrolling decided to just have a look down and saw me, grabbed his gun and shot me. So come on, share your own experiences that have made you feel like saying "Clever Girl" like the Ranger in Jurassic Park. :D
