Secretly? I've always said I'd love an A4. Oh wait that was a publicly expressed secret, gotcha!

I think if you look at it, there is a lot of cars that have been left out despite the racing excuse just to sell later as DLC. And thankfully it looks like people are tiring of it, though it's still really annoying to read things from the "forza faithful" who will literally praise and buy anything Turn10 shows and be happy about it. The latest example is the Rally Pack which is going to be fully standalone and not integrate with the current environment at all, now justifiably many are saying why create an add-on that has nothing to do with expanding the already there environment which most people just want to drive around with their mates and such. Makes sense right? However there are people saying how it makes sense and that the reason it isn't integrated is because it CAN'T BE DONE. Yes can't be done, even though Midnight Club and other games manage it fine. So yeah, there you go. :headbang2: I really don't get the point in creating content that has nothing to do with the map we have and leaving the small environment to grate on people for another month or three. I would have thought keeping people playing and thus selling them DLC car packs would have been the thing to do but then logic in gaming never seems to be considered. Don't get me wrong the Rally Pack sounds alright and all but I think it would have been a better swansong rather than an introduction that in some way alleviates to the plans that the future support of the game is all about leaving the game world you started in. Then again maybe it's just me who sees that as somewhat strange.

Bellissimo! Thanks to the people over at DrivingItalia.net we have a video of the very promising looking sim-racer Assetto Corsa that is being developed by Kunos Simulazioni, who you may or may not know are the team behind the highly-regarded netKar PRO and Ferrari Virtual Academy, so as you can imagine their 'simulation' prowess is very much respected in the racing-sim world and excitement for their latest offering is at a very high-level. In the video below you can see the ever mental Pagani Zonda R lapping the Monza track where it sticks to the tarmac remarkably well as it is known to, as let's not forget this car did the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife in an unbelievable 6mins 47secs. And it looks like this game will allow you to test your might with unpredictable snaps and the car doing it's best to show it can't be fully tamed. Just like a full-on racecar should be! As you can see it's shaping up very nicely and should be yet another fantastic addition to any sim-racers repertoire. Need a clean inside for sure but looks damn good mate, enjoy it I'm sure you will. */yoda*

Nice first car mate, start as you mean to go on so not going below an Audi from now on. :)
-
Indeed it's a good selection and if the game was only during the day I'm sure a simple copy and paste could have been done, however due to the different lighting and of course the need to create the lights and interior details it's understandable how there's less cars. I do feel they should have had 200 for retail release though and that's not including DLC. The game is certainly worth a buy and it's available in a number of places at reduced prices, just look around. :)

Single player can be dull and so can the free roam if the host is useless or people don't really stick together, after all there is no "jump to" player option so that can get tedious. Saying that though the Playground Games are fun and can be a brilliant laugh when you get a fine group of people in who play for fun and not only just to win.
-
I wouldn't say I'm totally bored but I'm not itching to jump on it or anything. Also I completely agree about the lack of persistent free roam and true open-world nature of the environment, which let's face it isn't that big either. For a first effort it's good, and to be honest if they release FREE DLC to expand it then I can see the game still jumping off the shelves. If they just do a typical milk their customers for everything though, then it will fall flat on it's face for a number of people.

Test Drive: Ferrari Racing Legends Announced!
Eudemon replied to Eudemon's topic in Driving & Racing Games
Maybe the retail on the shelf version is cancelled but that wouldn't stop digital downloads so I dunno what's going on. All in all though looks like it's just typical Atari ineptitude. In fact I'm pretty sure that's what the 'I' must stand for in ATARI.- 131 replies

This is mainly to do with Atari being incompetent as it looks like during the forum/account maintenance that they intended to take only 72 hours - which is nearing 2 months now - they broke something and thus the game can't fully activate as their is no proper response from the server the request is made to. As you have already contacted Atari and they seem to have actually replied, the only thing you can do is fulfil what they say as they are the only ones who can help you in regards to this matter. Also note that it is somewhat atypical to suspect foul play when certain issues arise in regards to these games but a quick look around on Steam and all sorts of forums would show that other people are in the same position as yourself so it wasn't fair for the members above to assume you were non-legit. Regardless you basically have to do what Atari said as like I mentioned before, only they can help you and hopefully just maybe they can manually activate you with the details you provide to them.

If you were suckered into buying the Season Pass or bought the pack at full price then this will make you happy. Just about a month after release the pack goes to half-price at 200MSP instead of 400MSP. Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside doesn't it? :headbang: Queue it on your Xbox via the link below October Car Pack - Xbox.com

Anyone got a spare TDU2 account? (solved)
Eudemon replied to Killall's topic in Driving & Racing Games
It will more than likely need to be up to Atari to sort this out and as we know with them being completely useless, this could take some time. Your best bet is probably to tweet them and post on their Facebook if you have it. They seem to have someone using and maybe even monitoring those at least. -
forza horizon Forza Horizon - TDUCk Community playtime thread
Eudemon replied to superhyper's topic in Driving & Racing Games
Tim usually gets on in an hour or two so maybe you could set something up then. It's all about timezones too, you need to get the same zones together otherwise it gets messy and people get either tired or are too sleepy to drive. -

Far Cry has always been a series that has been praised for it's map editor and it's predator game modes. I remember I loved playing it on the Xbox, however the next one on the 360 I couldn't stand and got rid of it after only having it about 2 days.

forza horizon Forza Horizon: An Open World Forza!!
Eudemon replied to hassan1995's topic in Driving & Racing Games
Maybe it accumulates so the using the Mini instead of the best cars all the time resulted in you winning a car, now you just need to continue doing so and a 250 GTO will be yours at Level 49. :D ....maybe? -
Happy Birthday mate!!! Made it with less than a minute to go.
