  1. Caught myself watching Foxcatcher as I was flicking through the channels. Wasn't really into it really but kept with it, glad I did. It won't be a film a lot will be able to stick with I don't think but if you do it is worth it.
  2. Not a bad price at all. Looks like it will provide enough fun for the money which is all you can ask for really.
  3. Still haven't watched ANY of the first. Need to catch up when series 5 or 6 is playing as that is how I usually do these things*. *only got into The Walking Dead when Season 5 had finished and still not seen any episode of Game of Thrones
  4. Hi there, per the Welcome to turboduck! message you should have received, members have to reach 10 posts where they will then become known as a "Verified"* and will gain access to additional functions including that of having a signature. We did this due to spammers in the past. Welcome to the :duck: ! *this update happens hourly and is not instantaneous
  5. The atmosphere and visual style is really dramatic and fits the game beautifully. I agree with the above about the tire noise but apart from that I trust in what you and those you are working with to keep doing what you're doing, as your vision and application has been on point throughout.
  6. Just saw that Kelvjy. Not sure how I feel about it as I feel Kunos might have been able to get that car in anyway if it does well this season.
  7. Watched Gravity yesterday evening. After all the fanfare about it at the Oscars a few years ago it has been one I've been wanting to see and it didn't disappoint. I liked how it started off nice and slow, then gave a glimpse at what to come only to then jump to 160 before you knew it. The trials and scenarios they were put through were believable and I can see why it won awards for its visual effects. Enjoyed the writing, and the acting which made you feel for the characters and what they were going through. Recommend catching it if you haven't already as it looks like it's at that time where it should be becoming available on normal media all around.
  8. Assetto Corsa v1.14 Xbox One Assetto Corsa fans on Xbox One have had a hell of a time the last month or so watching those on PS4 enjoy everything that the v1.14 update brought and delivered to the game, but at long last, they too will get to join in. Kunos Simulazioni have confirmed on their Facebook that the update has finally passed submission and has the green light for a release some time this week. This update is being waited for eagerly, as it brings custom and private lobbies, a selection of excellent free bonus cars and the awesome Scotland-based ‘Highlands’ track. Update v 1.14 has passed submission and we will be launching mid-next week! Stay tuned for more info! Once again, thanks for your continued show of support! It means a lot to the team. Along with the usual fixes and improvements, v1.14 has been looked upon as bringing new life to the game for many and so it is good to see that those on Xbox One will be able to get in on that action too, in the coming days.
  9. Wow @Microphone, thanks for the exceptional history lesson on that particular car.
  10. I really hate the wheels on Av S. Just don't think they work on the looks of the car. Stunning colour that mind, don't see dark green too often these days.
  11. Two years already. What a phenomenal success this thing turned into.
  12. Road Rash Returns! Motorcycles, speed, police, crashes and violence. This is Road Rash and it is one of the best games I have ever had the joy to play. Race on your bike through the pack while avoiding all manners of hazards from other riders, traffic cars, pursuing police and other obstacles. Punch, kick and bash your way past your opponents and the motorcycle cops trying to stop you as you hurtle towards the finish line, preferably at the front of the pack, and in one piece, in the aim to become the outright champion! Watch as your rider flips and tumbles when you collide with the static and moving dangers that litter the sides and occupy the roads you travel. Laugh (and get annoyed?) as your bike gets knocked further away from your rider by another vehicle and they have to chase after it, eager to hop back on and return to the race. Oh yes, this game was (is?) so much fun to play and despite it looking sooooo old and blocky compared to the technical and gorgeous marvels of today, there is still something about its gameplay, even now. If you’ve never had the pleasure of experiencing any of this for yourself or want to revisit old bash-your-face-in-ful, then thanks to this new thing they call the internet you can go and do so, in fact you can play Road Rash and its sequels and judge if I am merely looking through rose-tinted spectacles. No matter what platform you played this on, it was always the same simple formula: racing, fighting and crashing. And at a time when car games were flooding onto the scene it was good to be able to try something else. Throw into the mix the ability to cause some hurt, and it's no wonder these games became so popular! And if after giving it a go you too want more and are wondering why there is no modern-day equivalent, then worry not, as there is an indie title currently in development called Road Redemption that is available for PC on Steam 'Early Access', that aims to bring the motorcycle-racing-beating-up-opponents genre back! Gamespot recently took a look at it, and despite it being a bit rough around the edges, it's very much full of the qualities we would expect from one that wishes to emulate this icon. And until EA find the will to actually set it loose again, this is as close as we can get to a new version.
  13. It's kind of nice how the colours swap from the Aston to the McLaren and you can see how they both work for their respective cars.
  14. Wow! Thought one of my team had gone and done this but forgot you as the thread creator get to see the poll results too. ;)
  15. That just sounds so weird in the tone I read it in.
  16. Stuck having to get into F1 because of the BTCC summer break. :bdown:
  17. It can be make or break with the colour of the brake calipers too. That yellow Fezza above would look even better with red brakes imo - it just adds a bit more sportiness.
  18. This with those wheels in black with a yellow rim would be pretty sweet, or even just some yellow lettering on the sidewall.
  19. The colour of the car makes that choice easier though. Black on red isn't something you see a lot but the yellow with black is.
  20. Depends on the colour of the car but generally I like a black wheel with a silver rim, but not on a white or silver car. Those suit fully black wheels imo.
