The news many console players have been waiting for is actually here! Assetto Corsa (AC) the extremely well-praised sim-racer from the talented Kunos Simulazioni are teaming up with 505 Games to bring the title to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2016. AC is a hardcore full on the details simulation where every track and car is carefully recreated to an incredibly high level of detail. PC players have recently only gotten the Gold Version 1.0 of the game after a fairly long stint in Steam's Early Access program but the updates keep coming and the reviews are very much in the positive area. Another racer to add to the fold and give strong competition to the old dogs of Forza and Gran Turismo along with the new upstart of Project CARS is a very good thing and it is truly wonderful to see consoles being able to join the party in getting these hardcore simulations.
