According to a post just made on the gameinformer website DRIVECLUB's severe problems are due to the games' coding rather than a lack of servers or such. The game has been QA'd and also had a number of Betas so how did this issue - if true - manage to creep through into the final release will no doubt be one of the questions that will be asked. [headline]DRIVECLUB PS Plus Edition Postponed[/headline] President of Sony Worldwide Studios Shuhei Yoshida has posted a message on the official DRIVECLUB facebook informing that the PS Plus Edition of the game will be postponed until they are certain they can guarantee the proper support for its release. It's a shame as this pours even more bad feeling towards Evolution Studios who to be honest are incredible at what they do but something always seems to spoil their achievements. So if you were waiting for the free PS Plus Edition to try this game and see if it the full upgrade was worth going for then unfortunately you'll just have to wait until it gets the greenlight. With the recent issues Sony's PSN has been suffering something has to be done and their infrastructure needs a massive boost in order not to only accommodate the NOW but also the upcoming BIG launches of the next Call of Duty and the PS4 version of GTA V. Then you have the mass of new players who will be switching on at Christmas and the other festivities. Going to be an interesting and important couple of months for Sony that's for sure.

Well it is a console beta and the PC has had their two so fair is fair.

Straight to youtube is a nice addition. That Share Play feature is going to be cool as hell to listen what people think of it.

The self-signed SSL certificates are due to expire in mid-November which will always generate a warning, but normally creating an Exception for the site if known to be trustworthy solves that. Not sure what would be connecting to SSL especially with you being Speshul. Unless it's something google based. Can you install something to check the headers being sent?

I think there are some really simple but important answers that are not known yet or the info about them changes and gets contradicted later on in other interviews. Agreed Darius, really hoping for some mid-level coupes like the M3 and C63 along with an RS4/RS6. Games like The Crew are about enjoying the drive as well as the racing and speed and if modders have taught us anything, it's that people like to do this with a huge variety of different types of vehicles.

DLNA (media played from the system) is coming in the future though. The One is getting it first though I believe.

PlayStation is due a BIG update in the form of 2.0 or 'Masamune' as it's being called and one of the biggest anticipations about it bar the themes and USB music player is Share Play. Share Play is a feature that allows a player to invite other players to watch their gaming session, now this may not sound too enthralling but wait, you see they can also virtually hand over the controller to the watcher and then for 60mins they can play the game as if it was on their own system! Not only this but you can even invite players to participate co-operatively or against you again for the same time limit in the likes of FIFA as the video shows even if the other person DOES NOT own the game. PS Plus is needed for some aspects and not for others which will no doubt be cleared up later. Does this seem like a big thing to you or do you actually wonder what is the point? :hmmm:
