Ye it's an odd thing because the styling of Spykers doesn't really suit tall vehicles with tall bodies. It's a D8 Peking to Paris btw, not a D12. You can recognize that by the tubes near the front windshield. The D12 had tubes that were more like those of the TDU1 Spyker, the C8 SWB. The ones on the model are more like Aileron, and that's the D8 version.

How can you not choose for a front windscreen.... or doors to get inside. How else would you drive it xD

Ye it sucks :( Had the same thing, wasted so much money to fix a car that never would be fixed at all, then I finally got a car that doesn't break down and I have to rear end somebody... Very good to hear it still runs. Could be some structural damage though... What can you sort out with insurance etc?

Honestly I can't list just one thing. Everything is important for me, or at least at this moment in my life it is. I don't feel safe in small cars (even though Smarts are really save) and there's not one I really like. I'll pay more to drive some nice C- or E-Class than a Twingo or something like that. I don't want to drive ugly cars. I don't want a car that's beautiful but needs a month to get to 130 km/h. I don't want a car that has a too stiff suspension setup because my route to work contains a few very, very bumpy stretches and I prefer comfort over any type of sporty driving characteristics I don't want cars with bad or no sound insulation because I want to relax when I'm in a car and I want to listen to the radio. I don't want a car with a dull, boring or barebone interior. Has to do a bit with comfort and a bit with aesthetics. Perhaps I should just go for Exterior appearance for now. I'm absolutely not driving a car that looks hideous. It's something I'm really strict for (ride height/stance, exterior equipment, trim, etc).

Hm ye true... for diversity orange would be the first choice indeed.

And that is great news. Getting rid of the Paint-engineering go-fast decoration. I'd go for red/white. I like that more than an entirely orange car (I especially hate cheap flat bright shades of orange)

- American Truck Simulator So SCS Software luckilly realized 18 Wheels of Steel was quite a nice series until they went Extreme Trucking and took all freedom and ownership away. They're fixing it with ATS, which is like ETS2 but with even more improved engine, shaders and game world. Larger cities, more different and specific industrial locations... Ye I can't wait to return to Trucking America. :D - GTA V DE (Delay Edition aka PC version, not german language edition) So there I went... paid 60 euros for a PC game (in holland I can't remembe any PC game for that price without being some limited edition) that is like 1,5 or 2 years old. But I just want GTA. - The Division Ye, ubisoft product so could go wrong a bit, but we'll see. I like the concept of the game and I loved the trailers. I just hope they won't mess up again by lowering the graphics so much. I'd also list Outlast 2.... if only it would actually show up this year. No word on that so far. Oh and I'm going to get Portal Stories: Mel (free for Portal 2 owners)... ok it's not really a game, it's a DLC. But it features so much new stuff that I think it's worth mentioning it :D- 18 replies

It looks great, but they sort of confirmed the ''issue'': the rest of the map now looks outdated and too equal compared to scandinavia.

Fixed that for ya. And congratulations with the 8 year existence of this place. On to the next 8, and with Project Paradise that's not so difficult :D.

Right, so I found 4-4-0-4 (couldn't tell you ingame because somehow I no longer saw anybody). Here's what happened: It just rotated the sector like 45 degrees. :lol:

I've been getting several messages now that the TDU server is not online. No problem I thought, as I had Speeder in sight and we could still talk. But now in map mode I can no longer see any players.- 2,504 replies

I'm not sure... I kept copying my original save into the TDU folder and redownloaded tdu-client.rar. Eventually it worked but I had more issues related to my router etc.- 2,504 replies

Try download tduclient.rar from the first page, put the dll file in TDU directory (overwrite if it asks), then go ingame, make sure GameSpy box is ticked and try and sign in.- 2,504 replies

Here's an odd issue.... when importing a section of land it doesn't show up the way it shows up in-game. Take a look below, showing Section 2-2-6-6: Notice the orientation... ok perhaps not thát much of a big deal that it doesn't point 3ds north, the dimensions are a bigger issue anyway. With the unitsetup I have atm every section is like 7,68 by 7,68 meters. What's odd is that it basically mirrors the segment though. At importing I do see a YZ-flip option, but that basically rotates it into a ''standing'' section of land instead of laying down. BTW that is NOT section 4-4-0-4.... I failed finding it back on the map despite having turned it into a massive X of dozens of meters tall :lol:

It's awesome to see because it's so different, so crowded... but I think that's also where its problems might show up: headache trying to focus on the details and small sponsors to see which car is of which team xD

Gonna try something out on sector 4-4-0-4, which seems to be a patch of nothing but grass. I tried sector 7-7-0-7 earlier and that was a coast patch which indeed left the road there but removed the actual soil (my tryout mesh was also not consistent 256x256 segments (or 257x257 vertices). On the picture below, sector 7-7-0-7 includes the odd shaped bay at the far left side of the picture. It's a very small sector btw, the only thing entirely included is that yacht harbour dock thing, plus a bit of roads.

I just redownloaded what was in the first post of this topic, deleted the old file I had in my TDU folder and put the one from the redownloaded tduclient.rar there. That worked for me.- 2,504 replies

Oahu has too many fences, gates and bollards blocking interesting spots. Speeder showed a picture of a petrol station building I think? So that means eventually you could remove them, or replace them with an empty file or something? I tried importing a custom mesh (with version 1) with a custom texture, and replace a certain section with that. It didn't really work, as the actual new mesh didn't appear, but what did happen was my texture showed up and deleted a bit of the ground there xD
