  1. If there is a car that looks even remotely like a '70 Challenger, and the game is released on PC I am dumping all of my money into that thing and a decent looking garage to house it in.
  2. I don't get the mentality behind the engine set-up's shown. The street legal Performance spec car has a root's blower(that somehow has a FMIC on it :/) on a fully built engine and yet the track ready Circuit car has a standard engine with a single turbine on it, fed to the regular factory single throttle body intake? That kind'a makes no sense. At-least LS9 swap the damn track car.
  3. Damn you rockstaarrrrrrrrr you are worse than david vonderhaaaaarrrrr...!
  4. :fp: :fp2: :fp3: Clearly R* have some kind of DRM on the play disk that they'd rather not have circumvented, but not installing the Play disk won't make a difference since someone will just edit the executable :p
  5. Well damn. Diablo why do you always have to out do me? :(
  6. That makes three then. I think I might just bake a cake for the occasion. 'Not playing GTA V Chatbox party' anyone? ...waits for 'cake is a lie' vector image...
  7. I second this. If and when GTA V comes out on PC I'm literally droppin' off the face of the earth. Like totally outie.
  8. Well lets be honest, Bugbear are trying for a spiritual successor to the Flatout series and if BeamNG's damage model was implemented, one crash would bend your entire chassis sideways, making it impossible to continue racing. It's meant to be an enjoyable arcade racing game with simulation elements implemented to make the game more believable and fun. If it's detrimental to gameplay, they won't make it that way or add it in in the first place, simple as that. EDIT: That said, I would like a little chassis flex. If anyone hasn't noticed, the floor pan on the car always remains flatter than a sheet of paper.
  9. I agree with Diablo; even at this stage the game appears to be stellar, especially when you consider the fact that it was created by a two man team(if what you are saying is really true). I see a small problem with body->tyre clipping in the third video but that is quite minor in the grand scheme of things. I'm going to join Diablo in wishing you guys the best of luck with this game. I enjoyed GT 2 quite a bit back in the day and can see where you are going with this.
  10. Almost forgot about the Pjanoo mix. Listened to that one way too much back in the day.
  11. :bump: EDIT: Song dump anyone? Quick note, some songs by the artist E-Dubble may contain curse words. Listen at your own discretion.
  12. ^^This. Like I said above, you couldn't tell the difference.
  13. Glad to see you got the joke :) About the flaps, I really don't like them on this or indeed any shape of Golf. It ruins the rounded look the cars seem to have on the bumpers. If you note where the bumper ends and the flap begins, you'll see that underneath it is curved. Rather than protruding outwards the bumper edge curves underneath the car, giving it a seamless look. I just prefer that :)
  14. As far as I can tell the tip is standard. *points at image* mudflaps...
  15. The MK IV Supra had a factory Alarm as an option, although if they are available anymore I have no clue at all. Come to think of it, shouldn't the car have come with an alarm if it had all the options? In other news, I think the car is looking awesome now. You'd be forgiven for thinking that it's factory fresh :P
  16. I knew about this trailer for quite a while now but never followed up on it. Something about being too caught up in real life. However, I still cannot contain my excitement for this game, it's up there on my list of things to watch out for alongside BF4 and The Crew.
  17. I'm confused. GTA V still has not been confirmed for the platform that made the game; and no matter how good as it looks I don't have the cash to buy the game and a console to play it on :( Oh well, life's not fair :P
  18. Gabe Newell joke. I believe a quote of his was "I hope it was worth the wait" and after incessant fat jokes regarding his laziness in relation to the Half Life series it became "Worth the weight". EDIT: May as-well drop this here. Apologies if re-post:
  19. Boredom causes people to do unusual things :P
