Sound mod overhauling Common.BNK.
Currently replaces tire skid, asphalt surface, road noise, wind, generic shift (supercar_shift), classic shift, generic and classic transwhine, police siren, and turbo.
Offroad surface sounds, horns, and maybe other sounds will be added in a future update. Keep an eye on version number and changelog for details.
Note: At this time it is not possible to separate manual, paddle shift, and automatic gear change sounds. If and when this becomes possible this mod will be updated with that feature.
Easily back up original sounds by renaming them x_audiobackup.bnk. Install to Euro\Bnk\Sound\Vehicules, replace when prompted.
Credit to Turn10 Studios and Slightly Mad Studios for the original samples and sound effects as well as EA Black Box for additional sound effects.

You're playing Test Drive Unlimited on PS2, PSP, XBOX 360 and PC? If so, you have to understand that, TDU on PS2 has a great soundtrack, while PC version also has the great soundtrack, but some of them are missing. You love the PC version soundtrack, but you want to listen to the songs, that were exclusive for the PS2 version (and PSP or XBOX 360 version)? No problem, this mod is for you!
This mod adds the PS2/PSP/X360 songs to PC version of TDU1, without replacing any song from PC exclusive soundtrack (even Remedy by Seether, i love this song and band so much!)
It restores 1 song from PS2/PSP/X360 version to Radio Classik on PC, adds 10 songs from PS2/PSP/X360 to PC Radio Bot (including 7 songs made by Smashtrax, so no worries), 6 songs to PC Sweet Radio (5 of them came from the PS2/PSP/X360 version, while the 6th song is the second part of "You're Wasting My Time" by Billy Garner, added as a bonus, because it also fits to TDU1 vibes too, just like his first part of "You're Wasting My Time", of course) and 5 songs from the PS2/PSP/X360 version added to Radio Djey on PC.
Installation:
you have to install this file "link to the mod (1).txt and copy-paste the link to Mediafire where you can download this file "TDU1 PC extended radio.zip", because of the limited file size, which is 50 MB
copy and paste the "Radio" folder to this folder called "Euro" (replace all the files if asked)
then, copy and paste the "Bnk" folder to the same folder, which is called "Euro" (replace all the files if asked)

A simple cleaned up launcher that can be used to easily launch your game in offline mode.
Overview
This is a modified version of the original launcher with all online checks, offline error messages, and admin mode requirements removed.
Using this launcher you can launch TDU2 in offline mode without waiting and without any error interruptions.
Versions
This download contains 2 separate launchers:
Custom Launcher: This version is a customized version of the original launcher, with and adjusted UI and no error pop-ups. Auto Launcher: This version directly starts Test Drive Unlimited 2 in offline mode, without showing the launcher.
How to install
Unzip the download and choose the UpLauncher.exe version you’d like to use. Place it in your TDU2 game directory, then simply run the launcher!

This is my first sound mod ever, took me a long time to realize how to make it but i finally did it! My intent was to make it closed to what you get in a real
Ferrari 612 Scaglietti, but it happens that EVERY video showing this car has no good sound quality or the audio can't be turned into a good loop....or it does..well idk, thing is that i decided to share my experience to those how may take inspirations:
This mod took:
- Some samples from World Racing 2, i mixed it until it get to a reasonable level of ear pleasure, and of course, close to the original, BUT NOT PERFECT, since there's no good source video (people don't give much love to ma boy), if you had one, let me know or give me a hint how i could get good loops even
on nasty sources
- My sanity facing the strange early 2000's racing sound system 😉
- I also took some inspiration from Forza Motorsport 7's Scaglietti, from the beginning i was planning on just using it, but it ended not being good
- It uses some real life samples of Backfire, but i want to get some others to make it more gorgeous
- This was made entirely on audacity, in the next project i will use other programs to mix and even create my loops from scratch

All sectors of the map have been redesigned(big work*), except for places near houses and palm trees (they couldn't be changed)... the asphalt has also been changed, snowflakes and icing have been added to the road curbs...added modern traffic.Stock platinum weather.
* to install move all files with replacement. * for taffic delete the old one and install the downloaded one.

Description
This mod adds 139 additional races to TDU Platinum, primarily multiplayer and club races that have been converted to single player races, with many having newly modified routes. These races have been set to unlock gradually as you increase your player level. Some of the new races have entry requirements involving the use of the new manufacturers added by TDU Platinum. Along with this, several of the base game races have also had their prize payouts modified to be similar to those of the new races, and a small number have also had their routes adjusted.
Many of the converted multiplayer and club races were max speed races, which I felt was rather overkill to retain as is. I've converted several of these into either standard races or time trial events. They will still appear on the map as speed races and count towards the Speed Race achievement progress, but other than this they function correctly as standard races/time trials. If I can find how to convert the map markers for these races to their new respective race types I will do this in a future update.
The mod includes a custom Database file, which adds additional possible AI opponents. Some of the manufacturers in TDU Platinum do not have many of their cars assigned to the AI by default, for instance RUF only has one car assigned. I modified the Database to add additional models to these under-represented manufacturers to add extra variety to the opponents in certain manufacturer-specific races.
This mod comes in two versions, featuring either standard length knockouts consisting of three to seven opponents, or shortened knockouts featuring only three opponents (except one race which features five opponents due to the very short lap length). Both versions are included in the mod zip file.
Requirements
To use this mod, you will need the following prerequisite mods:
TDU Platinum v1.21 by Milli
289 Races on Map by tasos007007
Regarding the 289 Races on Map mod, you only need to install the contents of the 'Test Drive Unlimited' folder within the mod's zip file, so ignore the contents of the other three folders.
How to Install
Installation of this mod is simple. After installing both TDU Platinum and the 289 Races on Map mods, extract the contents of the folder of the corresponding version of the mod you wish to use to the root directory for your TDU installation (by default this would be "X:\Program Files (x86)\Atari\Test Drive Unlimited", where X is the drive letter where you installed the game).
To check that the mod has installed correctly, enter any player house that you own. From there, select 'Game Info > Game Progress' and tab over to the 'Single Player Challenges' section. Hover over the Single Player Victory Level 6 target to see if it shows 259 races to complete the objective.
I've also included an add-on that modifies two max speed races to become money races you can farm to earn large amounts very quickly for purchasing cars and/or properties. Further details about which races these are can be found in the ReadMe in the 'Money Races' folder. To install these simply extract the contents of the 'Money Races' folder to the TDU root directory and select 'yes' when prompted about overwriting files.
Hints & Tips
When you reach Amateur level, several races will unlock which feature routes that pass by the locations of the seven tuning shops on the map, allowing you to easily unlock them. These races are:
Route for Take-off (Japan Auto Parts and British Specialist) The Puuni Race (Today's American Parts) Ascent of the Pepe (US Muscle Tuner) Lead Soles (European Specialist and British Parts) Friends or Enemies? (Forza Tuner) For the races requiring cars from RUF, Mine's and the BMW M3 GTR, these cars are not available for purchase directly from the car dealers. To acquire these cars, you will need to purchase a base model car and upgrade it into the respective models. These are as follows:
RUF - Select Porsche 911 models (pre-2010s) and Boxster S Mine's - Nissan R32 GT-R and R34 GT-R BMW M3 GTR - BMW M3 E46 (the name of the event, Oahu's Most Wanted, provides a clue to which M3 GTR to upgrade to) The Champion level class-restricted races up to class C feature opponents two classes above the entry requirement class. So for example, the class F Champion level race features class D opponents, and the class C races feature class A opponents (class B and A events feature class A opponents). These races are designed to encourage the use of upgraded cars, as while not impossible, they are very difficult to win with stock cars.

For correct operation, you need a Fix Map in TDUMT!
My "Real Water Mod" is already attached!
In this archive, these files have a different size from the original. The registry checks this and will not start the game until this error is fixed. To do this, you need the Magic MAP Tool. The easiest way to use it is to download TDUMT 1.10.2 or 1.13 and there press MAP Tool -> Fix All

I don't know about you, but when I went 200MPH and glanced at those shrinking bushes in the distance, I immediately used to feel dizzy. Maybe it was caused by a custom FX file (I last played vanilla TDU years ago), but I wanted to fix that. So after few tests I managed to find some solution. At least it looks much better now.
Installation:
1. Replace FX.ini file in Euro/Bnk/FX (remember to make a backup)
OR
Copy [GRASS] section of the provided file in your FX.ini (in case it interferes with your mods)

A few trees can flicker on and off. None actually on the road, but it may be distracting. I'm currently looking into it.
Floating trees
I didn’t have the Heightmap model from tdu2 so the terrain is a mix of TDU1 Hmap, TDU2 roads, and guesswork.

I replaced the cars with a nearly similar size (optical size) like the stock traffic.

Q: There are some hidden Traffic Cars you have not replaced. Do you plan it?
A: No! Because you need a different AIConfig.xml to unlock new traffic but this causes sync problems
in multiplayer if some other guys use the stock AIConfig.xml

A: Nohh 😕 .... but i'm working on it. Some weeks ago i was testing it and it works but not proberly.

A: Thats a Problem of the game and the collision file i can't solve it because
i can't edit the collision file.

Q: Can you activate light textures for Visibility in nights?
A: No because game has no properly working nights and all the necessary Textures are busy.
Q: Can you remove the Lightflares?
A: Yes but i'm won't. I let it in because it's better for the Traffic visibilty at the distance.
If you want to remove them you can use my light_fx.2db texture to remove it.
But Attention this remove the complete lightflares on every Car in the Game!!
Q: I have a problem my cars are looking like a Monstertruck when i crash into it.
A: Dont switch the traffic vehicles among themselves it causes optical problems wich i cant solve
Maybe if there come more cars later, replace it only with traffic wich is scheduled!!

I would like to present updated soundtrack for Test Drive Unlimited Platinum. Thanks to Milli's work on this great mod, I worked on this fix with pleasure.
Why and for what?
Well, while playing TDU Platinum it seemed that some songs had very poor sound quality. They sounded wrong. Then, I discovered that some songs even had incorrect ingame names. So, as I knew how I could manage this, I made this fix.
Features:
-Updated music quality (MP3, 48,0 kHz, 320 kbps, Stereo). It was maxed out as possible to work ingame;
-Corrected/added information about songs and its positions in .station files (file name, title, artist and album(radio name));
-"It just works".
Download (982MB) is available on Google Disk. Instruction is included.
What do you think about it? I will be glad to read your reviews.
P.S. Also I think it would be great, if these fixed files were included in Platinum mod.

ENB Config v0.3 Final
Here's my ENB Preset Config v0.3 Final. It has "only small" improvements as the Version before.
- Reflection improvements on Buldings (Windows/Glases)
- Reflection improvements on Cars
- Color improvements Night/Day
- Better Sky & Clouds (No more bloom intense Clouds)
- small light improvement in Buildings (Houses, CRC, Cardealer)
Known Bugs:
- Sometimes the game crash when you minimized it.
You can fix it. Press the buttons Alt+Enter to run the game in a window and than you can minimized it without crashing (thx Voodoo)
- in races are the Checkpoints very bloom intense
You can switch off the bloom if you want to drive a race (press Shift+Enter in the Game to open the ENB-Config GUI and search for EnableBloom)
- same thing with bloom intense on the map and on the gps in the car
- same with Paint Shop if you choose a white sticker
- Some Markers over house or Cardealer have less contrast
- When you drive in Cockpit view you can't see the bloom effect (at the most Cars)
- Shadow Bug in front of the car at Daylight
Switch on the carlights to fix this bug (Is not very helpfull i know)
Fixed Bugs:
- No more Lags when delete a text in the Chat or if BACKSPACE was pressed

This is a simple Reshade* preset for Project Paradise Multiplayer, It was not possible to have them both if you have newer Windows 10 OS but now it is!!**
Setup
Just move the files to where the actual game executable file is. You need to install Project Paradise first!
