Cactus' Flux software suggestion has actually made an awesome difference to late night PC usage!
Takes about a week to get used to the colour-change but if you're using the PC every night and not doing colour work (web, photoshop, video editing, etc) it really is amazing - and it'll help you get to sleep quicker too. Really does take the sting out of the bright white areas of the screen.

New happy year! Best of all to members that of old and new. I hope all you that have best of the 2015 and leave troubles of any regarding 2014 back past in the and most the make ahead year.

Looking forward to Crackdown and Quantum Break next year. Might also try and get FM5 and Dead Rising 3 cheap on fleabay or something.

Hey guys! Long time no see.
 
 
Some of you might remember me. I used to be active on this forum a while ago, so I thought it might be interesting for you to see what kind of car I would be buying as my first one. I could be wrong, but you know, I'll take the chance ;) I picked up my first car on the 23rd of December and have since detailed it and done a few minor mods. Before you see the photos, let me tell you my parents did help when I were to find work to save for the car, and with the actual process buying it, but I paid it all myself. I'm not 18 yet so I dont have a license yet, but I can drive it as long as my dad is in the passenger seat. It's only a few weeks left till I'm 18 anyway.

In case you missed the photos above, it's a 2007 Mazda MX-5 Roadster Coupe (yes, that's what the european power retractable hardtop models are called) 1.8 in True Red with black leather interior and a sports exhaust system fitted. It's only done 34 900 km.
 
 
I have many mods planned, for instance I really don't like how high it sits atm, and those winter wheels are pretty ugly. I'm planning to lower the car 50-60mm with Eibach springs, put winter tires on the original Mazda 16" rims and get some gunmetal matte TSW Nurburgring 17" for summer. Its gonna look a lot better then. Quick photoshop of how it will look:

If I thought it was dire, I'd follow Baldy's advice and turn it off. Just like I do with almost every episode of fifth gear.
Wheeler Dealers is exactly the same every show, but I still enjoy it.
American Chopper was the same bike built each time with more arguing and lawsuits every show, but I still watch the reruns. Just watching them build Lance Armstrong's bike... guys still a legend. Just now he's a scapegoat of 2 massively corrupt organisations.
 

Yeah I did. The Dragons den part was a bit contrived but still gave me a chuckle... especially when he couldn't understand the grumpy Scottish one.
Of course its fake. It would be duller than Blue Peter if they kept it real.
 

Of course it was better. Back then we didn't have a stack of great TG's to compare it too. Only old TG when Tiff and Quentin were still there.
And the very first season of new TG was pretty dire when that fat bloke (Jason Dawe) was still trying to sound clever.
 
Top Gear is past its prime i think, but its not as bad as all the internet whiners are making out.
