    im not so sure, but for some reason the classic version is a bit trickier to get a server running on it, try running address on the lite, hopefully it should work im still relatively new to all this server stuff, so im still learning it all myself

    which version of tekkit are you using, cause there is tekkit lite and tekkit classic,

    that's fine, i've been away from it over the weekend, and just looked through the server activities logs and noticed there hasn't been anybody on there, was hoping that it was just a lack of activity due to the holidays or i've gone wrong somewhere

    sounds like a good starting point i guess Just a quick update on the server, i did have it running ok, thought i would have a test run on it, before restarting it and letting you guys in. went to restart the map and find a good seed to play on and now the game wont start, had a quick chat with the server support team and it seems like there is a dodgy file somewhere so i've left it with them to sort out, but being easter weekend im not sure how quickly they will come back to me.

    Right i've set up a tekkit server for the moment, but it just need a bit of server tweaking before i let everyone free on it, i will put the IP address in the original post when its ready Put your MC name down below and i will whitelist it now

    i've been watching the yogscast playing tekkit recently, it kinda wants me to do something similar as in all coming together to build something epic Linky to what they've been up to

    its not out of the question entirely, i want to play on a server that other people enjoy as much as me, cause im not going to pay out for something that nobody plays on, if that happens i will probably shut it down, so i need everybody's input to keep interest in this

    This will never happen I've tried feed the beast before, and although its very similar to tekkit i've kept coming back to tekkit

    I've been offered a deal on a fairly cheap Minecraft/tekkit server and thought that it would be good to play it here with everyone,i think this has been discussed before, but no one really could host the server themselves including me at the time But before i accept the offer i've been given i need to know if anybody still would be up for this, so if you would like to be part of this please add your name plus what version you would prefer either vanilla or the tekkit version Edit: 30-03-2013 Right the tekkit lite server should hopefully be up and running, but its early days yet so if you do have any problems please let me know, everybody whose put there name down so far should hopefully be able to get in the server address is 81.19.217.145:27390

    Looks good, would like to see some actually game footage before though. I bought Dirt Showdown because i thought it would be a good DD game, but it turned out to be more of a flatout clone.
