    This summarizes my thoughts pretty well. I don't know what your 'friend' is telling you about the game but you're already hating a game that A) you don't seem to own and B) is 5-ish months away from release. Compare a 2008 racing simulator to a 2015 racing simulator and the comparison could be reasonable, comparing the environments of an open world game against a racing sim's environments is just ridicculous. I don't play racing sims to look at trees or people either. The only person I know who could be playing racing sims to look at the trees is Diabs :hmmm:

    I'd like to give everyone rooting for TDU2 a friendly reminder that it's widely considered a failure, a disappointment, generally just an unworthy successor to TDU1 (especially here, as many members and basically all of the staff got involved with the site because we were/are huge fans of TDU1). TDU2 promised much but delivered, oh, so little. It had huge potential but they messed it up by forgetting about the main aspect of the game, driving, and instead they focused on features that would have fit better in the sims. In addition to that, it was a broken game. But of course everyone has the right to their own opinion, even if it's wrong :cheeky: Now let's get back on topic people!

    From what I know, it's more about delivering a better product than seeing the other games as threats :nods: Also, optimization isn't a problem imo, it runs better than AC for me :eek:

    I'd include other than cruising in Ryan's idea. Maybe even other games than racing games. Like I said, just a place where you can post if you're playing something and have people possibly joining you :) Also about the photomodes you mentioned, maybe a subforum for all the photomode things. You can make your own screenshot thread there or your own Forza photothread for example or you could just post in the screenshot thread, which should be stickied then. Just another 2c to add to the huge pile of 2cs I've given :lol:
