    After deleting the radial.cdb file we would often create a folder with the same name (including .cdb). This would prevent the game from creating that file again. The file was never necessary but often caused game issues after some time.

    This week I have been playing Rocket League, No Man's Sky, and Forza Horizon 4 all on PC. In NMS I am trying a few missions. Once I wrap those up and free up some slots by selling inventory I would like to try playing multiplayer with friends. In FH4 I was getting 3 stars on speed cameras and completing a few road races on Fortune island.

    Back in the days of the original PlayStation when video games were hard and the Internet had new and exciting websites like CheatCC.com, I would carefully write down a series of X's, squares, triangles and circles on paper from the school library computer, then try them at home to see what new/secret parts of the game could be unlocked. While I did use them to cheat (i.e. unlock all cars in Need for Speed 2 SE, NFS 3, NFS 4), there were quite a few parts of the game that could only be unlocked via cheat codes. For example, there was no way to drive in Traffic vehicles or dinosaur props in old NFS games without using cheat codes. Need for Speed III Hot Pursuit on PlayStation had a number of hidden tracks (YT: Need for Speed III - Hot pursuit : The Hidden Tracks !!! PS1 - with Commentary) that could not be unlocked via gameplay, you had to use a cheat code. They also were not present in the PC version of the game. These days I don't really see much in the way of cheat codes. There are trainers and memory hacks available, which are often laden with malware or risk punitive action to your online gaming account, so I don't bother. I much prefer to complete a game myself (not that I have the time anymore).

    I don't think the Terms of Use include any references to new users' teeth any more so that joke no longer works. @BlakeBelladonna when older members registered they agreed to terms/rules which included a line that 'we now own your teeth' as a joke - because no-one reads that when registering.

    Welcome Blake, I enjoyed reading your story as it reminded me of the first time I played too. Great to have you here with us. TDU1 still has a massive map if you compare it to Forza Horizon and recent Need for Speed games. It wasn't just the size too, but the detail of numerous residential streets. Even if we rarely drove on them, it still added to the realism. I remember getting into a free-ride police chase in single player mode the first time I played, and thought I could lose them by driving off-road tbetween the trees, which didn't work. I remember eventually evading them and then wondering 'where the heck am I now?'

    All opinions are welcome but we would appreciate a more friendly tone than this. If someone genuinely wants to improve the experience for the community based on what others have already modded then that's great. If someone appears to only want Internet fame then it seems that most people here will detect and resent that. If you wish to continue discussing the topic I would suggest doing so in a new thread, so that this one is kept only for discussing TDU Platinum.
