  1. Or just save yourself some time and give him the super rare Awesome Member badge!
  2. Has never stopped people buying iPhones before  #ohnohedidn't :ytwh:
  3. Interesting, I've only been keeping up to date with automotive titles. My wild guess would be the Xbox is locked at 30 and the PS4 is struggling at 60 in some scenes?
  4. Buy something for a system/console that you already own. Wait a bit longer to work out which new console you want to get, and then by that time you'll have a few games to choose from. FH2 and GT6 and Project CARS have rain GT6 has snow (I think, GT5 did). FH2 and GT6 and The Crew has dirt roads Many games are showing that the PS4 is more powerful than the Xbox One in resolutions/framerates that are supported.
  5. Surprised no-one's given him an Atari badge yet.... oh wait. What took you so long Natch?!
  6. I never bothered with this as it would screw up the traffic sync between players. imho the traffic vehicle changes should be dropped from the community patch.
  7. So H&R fee plus late fee... surprised you're getting any return at all, haha. I did mine on the PC last week with a few days to spare. I always get minimal returns because of bank interest.
  8. Some random pics from the latest page of the WMD screenshot thread. Devs testing new puddle tech @ Bathurst which is really looking quite special
  9. That's a better advertisement for the game than some of their trailers.
  10. It won't be half as interesting without our PC playing muppets' feedback I hope 'tuning heaviness' is just a loss of translation as you'd expect heaviness to be more of a constant (besides customisation)
  11. Just announced the other day was that XP OS Share is down to 17%, so the majority of gaming PCs will be on Win 7 and as such you'd expect a 64-bit simply to make use of all the RAM. Also there's good data available from the Steam hardware surveys. We're definitely at a point where studios can drop XP/DX9 support for AAA titles. I assume your driver note above relates to AMD/ATi as the nVidia drivers are into the hundreds.
  12. I've always used the chatbox or Steam for that. Back in the days of scheduling a special event for the weekend I'd make a thread when you were guaranteed to fill 8 spots.
  13. Congrats. Which bike did you get? Oh wait :derp:
  14. Oh, I thought you needed helping sourcing a 125cc sound... I was going to suggest recording a racing car from Gran Turismo
  15. TDU1 was ~95 cars/bikes which jumped to around 145 with the megapack on PC.
  16. Video isn't related to any licences, I think it's just seen as the 'scariest' track The team isn't making a big deal about new track licenses as the tracks themselves have been in the game (and known about) for ages. Given the amount of work they've done on the northern ring in recent months it's a fairly foregone conclusion.
  17. I'd suggest it's gone down because of all the other games coming out. The kiddies can only afford to purchase so many games in a given time. The problem with comparing TC to TDU1 is that we now have a lot more stuff (gaming or otherwise) to hold our attention, so I can't see myself playing TC quite as much. Even during the beta I struggled to get in the mood (but that was partly down to the handling). 2m will still deliver a good profit (depending on original budget spend). I'm hoping a certain other game sells at least 3m.
  18. You couldn't put this in the other thread? :oook: I didn't think this game was 'that' excessive in its online actions. There's racing, and there's text notifs (social). Hardly different from some of the previous NFS games with their 'AutoLog' features. So where have they mucked up? The only issues I can think of are relatively elementary so I wouldn't even bother to suggest them.
  19. Really feel for those devs, makes you wonder what the "real" issue is (and not the PR one). Maybe selling way more PS4 consoles than expected had something to do with it. Maybe unoptimised network code (surely that would be discovered/fixed by now), or internal politics at Sony over who has to pay for additional servers/hosting (you'd think Sony would step in to protect their brand reputation but sometimes the bigger the beast, the more red tape there is. By the time a game is released the dev studios have often pretty much exhausted their entire budget, and so either need to generate income (sales) or get loans.)
  20. The front badge looks a bit like the logo for MalwareBytes AntiMalware, which (compared to the numberplate) is quite ironic.
