  1. Ditched the Euro one btw Made this yesterday up until 2am
  2. @cal I'm pretty sure the main road up is tarmac but there will be other roads in the vicinity of Pikes Peak that are dirt. That said a bunch of players did say they would prefer it to be a dirt road, so who knows.
  3. Try deleting the radial.cdb file in ProgramData\Test Drive Unlimited
  4. I don't suppose you registered two account for two shots at a beta key Mellors - this email could be the second account. Previous intel was that anyone who played the earlier beta doesn't need a key, just launch the game with the same Ubi account as per before.
  5. Let me get this straight... there are posts here with a screenshot from a new trailer, a list of new cars identified in the new trailer... but no-one has actually posted the new trailer?
  6. Much the same nice graphics and drifting shots with the ponderous question "How fast do you want to go?" like all the other trailers. So, um, how fast DO you actually want to go?
  7. SMS are still working out all the details but it sounds like 'nothing will be locked away forever' - what that timeline turns out to be I don't know. I can tell you those are not core career cars. Obviously some are pointing the 'evil' finger at them but given that these guys are not experienced publishers I do get where they're coming from. The devs and us WMD always wanted a special commemorative edition, and SMS want to get an indicator of how many copies of the game they might sell (and should therefore produce) - the best way to do that is to preorder, and the best way to sell preorders is with a limited edition. So those who want the steelcase and book or want to support SMS can go and preorder/buy the LE, those who get the normal version should eventually be able to get all the cars anyway, and if you're already a WMD member, hold back for future announcements regarding how your discount/free copy works out. It's not an easy process to work out and they've got loads happening atm so we just have to be patient. They've made games before, but never self published.
  8. Well the contract to make this game gave SMS more money and car licenses to put into Project CARS... so we're pretty supportive of it. Most people are mature enough to know that there is a market for both sim and arcade racing games :) My earlier comments were generally based on my limited experience playing NFS World when it first came out.
  9. You know you can click on the Dev Posts button up the top, right? They want to be 'more than fair' with Full+ members in giving them the LE
  10. Well I assume you picked it... (and I'm using it to describe most of the randoms I expect to end up racing on a free game)
  11. Can only see the south east corner there it seems but it does still seem to be on the small side. That said it must be big enough for them to suggest the use of Road Trip and free roaming compared to it taking a back seat in FH1. Looks very polished.
  12. Sound Modders and others might be interested Vehicle Engine design Project CARS, Forza Motorsport 5 and REV | Designing Sound
  13. It's a nicer way of saying your user title for example ;)
  14. Good start mau... although I'm guessing most of us know why planes fly and which way to move the joystick. Personally I'm interested in the basic principles of preflight, taxiing and ATC communication, setting the route (headings, waypoints) into onboard nav and Auto Pilot - how to use charts/maps, VATSIM, etc without looking like a complete muppet but without also having to study for 20 hours before hand :)
  15. No problem, I replied just before leaving for work and didn't have time to check
  16. 2 days late Clarence, tsk, tsk :toetap: :warnsaw:
  17. new video for gamescom I'll give it a go but it's not exactly my cup of Irn Bru, and I'm expecting most of the online players/audience to be a bit frustrating
  18. I'm sure we'll be looked after ;) Just hold tight for any news posted on the forums. WMD Forum
  19. Ben takes on a gamer (who has been able to practice beforehand)

To this day it remains one of the fastest production cars ever made. Sauber C9 With a top speed of 248mph, the Sauber C9 was a Group C Prototype that still holds one of the fastest records at Le Mans. In the 1989 season it won all but one race of the World Championship making it a dominant force on the track and an aspirational legend. BMW M1 ProCar During its years participating in a bespoke one-make series, Group 4 events, and various national series, the M1 Procar saw many legendary drivers such as Niki Lauda and Nelson Piquet behind the wheel and even a custom paint job by visionary artist Andy Warhol. Mercedes-AMG C-Class Coupé DTM With its predecessor being the most successful car in the 28-year history of DTM, the AMG C-Class Coupé is a stronger, safer machine built on a naturally-aspirated V8 engine and incorporating larger wheels and a huge rear wing to make it one of the most competitive cars running in DTM today. 1967 Ford Mk IV Winner of both the 1967 Le Mans 24H and Sebring 12H, and driven by legendary driver Mario Andretti, the Mk IV was ahead of its time breaking new technical ground that has influenced car construction through to the modern day where it still holds the record of being the only American car to have ever won the classic endurance race.
