  1. Agreed, was a good watch. For me it's somewhat on part with watching recent Top Gear USA episodes (note - I do enjoy TG USA). The guest involvement was good but some parts went on a bit lon to hold my attention, got close to skipping forward.
  2. I'm sorry would you have preferred a new thread? :oook: Being a fan of all sorts of racing games it makes sense to show some interest when a real life professional goes to the effort to share their experiences with everyone.
  3. That's great and all, but it's a shifter! Something for fun, not usually for going faster (depending on simulation shifting code). Too bad we don't have a proper TDU replacement to really enjoy shifters like this.
  4. If you look closely you can see lightning top-right
  5. Indeed it is, although sadly the galaxy seems to be regenerated with a new seed, meaning my nearby source of Gravatino Balls is now littered with massive dinosaur eggs instead - which I can't mine without one of those exo-vehicles. So I'll be off through that black hole... as soon as I can find it - I'm sure it must be hiding behind of of those planets, but I keep getting called in to rescue freighters from pirates.
  6. It might be worth adding your review to this thread and perhaps checking alternatives for online mode in the meantime Screen Capturing | turboduck forum
  7. The funny thing is that I fired up FH3 yesterday for the first time since November and thought about looking for a wagon before remembering this had closed  Handling felt a bit weird on the gamepad - quite 'heavy' and understeery unless I 'chucked' a car into a corner which then made it feel very arcade. Checked settings were normal - manageable but a bit weird.
  8. Did anyone pick this up or do we not have many Xbox players here?
  9. Details released - quite a lot has been going on. Path Finder Update : No Mans Sky Given I haven't yet tried the 1.01 update yet (bases and freighters) I might give this another go. I think I was last on a planet which finally had valuable resources (those orb thingo's) - which might be important since it seems rewards have gone down and the amount of things to spend units on has increased dramatically. I wonder if the new auto-harvesting mechanism will work with it. The problem with leaving is that I've found my first black hole in this system, so don't know how easy/hard/impossible it is to return. btw is anyone kind-of interested in starting a new (separate) save in Permadeath difficulty to see how far they can get before dying (in comparison/competition with other forum members here)???
  10. :rofl2: Anyway, there's a new update scheduled for release very s**n Path Finder Update Coming Soon | No Mans Sky
  11. Wouldn't the game controller options not have a setting to turn 'combined' pedals on/off to resolve this? If not, I guess the entire problem is the 'cheap' wheel - as in one the devs have never heard of and not programmed support for.
  12. Glad to see them update the intro, the studio, the RWD car (good call), and bring back the main track. Glad they didn't waste time on multiple celebrity laps. Agree that the monkey was a bit bossy but Matt's ability to grin and laugh helped a lot to offset that... certainly much better than that other 'Amellican' The POV footage at the end of the FXXK clip was fantastic, hope they release the entire lap somewhere. The change to the guest format is far less skip-worthy than before which is nice to see as well. Overall I'd give the episode a solid 8.
  13. thanks for reminding me to go hunting for this
  14. Ignore the style/appearance - but perhaps this location would be better suited What do you think?
  15. Would that vision include opening mod shops for other games? (don't ask me to suggest any)
  16. Any conclusions to Porsche ownership worth sharing? Congrats on the new ride.
  17. Clever idea hiding the rear part of the car there
  18. Is a 25% price cut and the availability of touch controllers tempting enough... Oculus slashes price of Oculus Rift with Touch controllers by 25% | Ars Technica It's possible sales are down and stock is high, and they're working towards Gen2 - but then that would be expensive all over again... Or perhaps wait and see what Microsoft is doing Microsoft plans to bring mixed reality to the Xbox in 2018
  19. the rear sticks out a bit too much imo but the rest ain't too bad
  20. Details on their new random track generator bsimracing
