  1. Gotta love 'the Fonz' lookalike in that old concept artwork for the game (the guy on the left)
  2. ^ This is what I'm referring to. Sounds like there will be certain basic single player games just like today's stuff (just like TDU), but the new gen stuff may blur the lines between SP and MP even more, and some games may not have a separate SP (offline) mode
  3. Sounds like the probable reason why there's a rumour that the new consoles require you to be online
  4. Ubisoft's PS4 Racer 'The Crew' Details Leaked - NowGamer At least his article looks more polished than my quick splash'n'dash :)
  5. Bob only tests things; you should know that.
  6. TDU3 or DSF2? With E3 only a week away now, more info has leaked about the rumoured racer to be coming from Ivory Tower and Ubisoft Reflections (Driver: San Francisco). Here's what we've heard so far: The Crew will probably offer a game experience close to DRIVER: San Francisco. The gameplay is rather semi-arcade, accessible, fun and efficient. The open-world environment is in North America, with the possibility to travel between New York City and Los Angeles (on a reduced scale). Like DRIVER: San Francisco, the map will be similar to "Google Maps". In "freeride", players will be free to choose between missions or challenges. Multiplayer will be competitive and co-operative with an upper limit of 8 players per-session. A companion app for mobile devices will be published The unknown source of this leak tested the game on the Xbox 360 console, but previous job listings seem to hint that a PS4 version is also in the works (Xbone more than likely too). The release date is expected to be announced before the end of 2013. Apprehensive? Excited? Cautiously optimistic? Come and discuss the latest on our forums! The image above was found on Ivory's website by Speeder last year Thanks. GameBlog.fr
  7. They must have good brakes ;) I don't have a garage, sometimes you just have to remember the car is there to serve you, not the other way around.
  8. I'm getting the vibe that is is more DSF2 (ignoring the story and coma and NPC warping) rather than TDU1.5. Of course DSF was good fun and had good arcade physics, but these were best enjoyed with the gamepad whereas an open world game with good wheel support would shine even more. Of course the other problem is that trying to play DSF online on the PC was pretty much impossible after a few weeks. Always ended up in an empty lobby with no way to browse and select one yourself. Will be fun either way but let's hope the Ivory guys outnumbered the Reflection when it came to the driving aspect and weren't just relegated to building the world.
  9. A couple of new WIP screens in the game - don't think they do anything yet
  10. Did you even read the code? You don't need to be a programmer to know what it does.
  11. Has someone been teaching you how to code? :fp:
  12. Try this: Tutorial: Importing / Creating Your Own Basic Car Mod For TDU | turboduck forum It's for TDU1 but it's probably the best you'll find on the subject here.
  13. I haven't seen it personally since the form had a black and yellow 'road' background years ago :) Might've been a couple of instances when TDU2 modding first began.
  14. Requesting mods is a privilege reserved for members of the community. Not for new people who ask for mods and then never post again. Also not for people who post spam (almost always "thanks' or 'nice work' or 'good job' in released threads) to reach this requirement just like you've done, as we just delete those posts. I don't wish to be blunt, but you can choose to be an active member of the community or look for another TDU2 website. If we didn't have this in place the small number of modders would be overwhelmed with requests, which defeats the purpose. Modders will select cars that interest them personally, or if they are taking requests, it'll much more likely be from a friend or a well known member. If you wish to stick around, then :welcome:
  15. Hey there, there is a great thread that details all you wish to know in the link below. How to unpack TDU2 How to install TDU2 mods. Ask for help in here! [PC ONLY] | turboduck forum :locked:
  16. Don't forget the old fashioned rep system (click the star below the post on the left), which is worth a lot of 'Likes'
  17. Once I master how this Blutricity factory and piping system works I'll probably build a bigger factory somewhere else. Also want to build some mini-game infrastructure (possibly after mass-producing MFSU's, HV Arrays and Teleporters)
