    That plus the fact they wouldn't sell many luxury cars so prices go up to accommodate costs of running a dealership. You can spend over $70g on a new fully specced Golf R. Luxury car tax in Australia applies to cars over ~$58k as well. Then stamp duty costs $8 for every $200 you spend on the car

    ~24 hours. Time will tell if I have enough time to fire up the PS3 and take a shot in GT5.

    Might be due to my pedal sensitivity being set to 40 instead of 50 in the game (worked better for Shift 2). Nice time, was wondering if you would let the other two beat you or not :p Now it makes my time feel even slower though :( (not that I really tried, most of my laps weren't even clean).

    I only had about 75 when I got mine (wasn't a requirement back then). I can understand the reason though, my confidence did increase a lot with those extra hours afterwards. (For everyone else's benefit, over here you must hold a Learners permit for 2 years and accrue 120 hours of driving experience (log book) with a licensed adult before you can go for your Probationary license when you turn 18).
