Just do yourself a favour and don't try drifting in real life, coz if/when you do hit a kerb you'll wish your car only went on two wheels ;)

humgoo, I think there's a bit of, how can I put it, the Iced Bullet touch in that tutorial.

Basically if you want to convert online to offline, create a dummy offline profile and copy the first 50 bytes across to your existing online profile (after backing up)
And vice versa, if you want to go offline to online, create a new online profile and copy the first 50 bytes to your existing offline profile.

I didn't get that thing working yet but I'll look into it more, those sounds are incredible :hmmm:

A test run of the BMW Z4 GT3 in pCARS, not pushing it too hard but still managed to fail massively :fp: And the video is really quiet for some reason :mhmm:

Yeah fooling DNS via hosts file would be the easiest way to change the address, just need another server running the service (where would we get that from?) for it to work. And then assuming it works, would it actually work well?

    Oh are we stopping?

Drifting cruise (using all the dead end twisty roads often missed):

Ryzza5 got a reaction from iNotACactus in Suggestion - upcoming games
On the main index page, below where you have the list of latest threads, it would be great to also have a more static list of links to threads for each upcoming game that we're excited about. That way if someone finds a bit of news, they just quickly jump to the home page (wait, will Turbo Duck have a proper home page?) or index page, and find the game link there to the discussion/news thread.

Would make good sense for TurboDuck since it's focussing on more titles. Maybe we even have a forum called 'Upcoming Titles' that plays host to these threads, which can then be moved on release date. News threads would be closed and updated by staff (and/or maybe have a news mod for just that subforum).

Here's a series of images comparing the Mk7 (left) to the Mk6 (right). Check AUSmotive for the larger versions.

Mk6 looks more 'handome' (in want of a better word) from the front, Mk7 looks like it's trying to prove something, a bi like the Polo.

TDU1 made me buy a new gaming PC and Logitech G25 and TrackIR and ButtKicker a real life car GPS (TomTom when they were new and expensive) and made me create a YouTube account and made me join Internet forums for the first time and now it's gone :(

Knew it would have to happen soon though, last few times I've been in there there's only been 8-50 people online total (PC). Doesn't justify the server costs. Need to organise some cruises now.

They're easily created in Photoshop, etc and then you just share the files online, then save into the \CustomLiveries folder. Might only be one custom slot for each car at this stage, been a while since I downloaded one.

    1) NOBLE. The new Mk7 will have the best interior quality in its category, electronic parking brake as an optional equipment, sports seats...

    2) LIGHTER. It will be max. 100 kg lighter than its predecessor and it is as light as MkIV. (1050 kg)

    3) SAFER. VW has equipped the new Golf with lots of advanced driver assistance systems such as pre-crash system, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning system, driver drowsiness detection (Fatigue detection system) and so on. /those systems are actually pretty basic nowadays. :p

    4) AGILE. VW says the that new generation is more comfortable and sportier as well than the previous Golf. The electronic differencial XDS is now standard on all versions.

    5) EFFICIENT. It is 23% more efficient than the old one. 1.4 TSI 140hp: 4.8L/100 km, 1.6 TDI? 105hp: 3.8L/100 km. /Auto Motor und Sport says that 1.2 TSI will be the basic engine.

    6) BIGGER. It is 5.6 cm longer (4260 mm), 1.3 cm wider (1800), wheelbase is 2637 mm. Also, there is more space in the interior.

    7) MORE PRACTICAL. Bigger trunk (380 L), loading sill is reduced (1.45 m). Rear seats are 40:60 split.

    8) COMFORTABLE. The new Golf has progressive steering, forces when parking and maneuvering are reduced. DCC is an option again.

    9) NETWORK/MEDIA. "Modular infotainment systems" are debuting in the new Golf. The navigation system is now touchscreen and includes voice control and apps like Facebook, Twitter etc. (optional)

    10) CHEAPER. The new Golf is cheaper - some insider says it will cost 16.500 €, which is 475 € less than MkVI.
