I've just found out that the slogan in that video ^ is a bit of a retaliation to Codies when they said they've pulled out cockpit cameras in GRID 2 because 95% of people don't use them. Makes a bit more sense now :)

I found that by accident, but it seems to be a picture of the secret AAA game of Ivory Tower, a french studio composed of people from TDU staff and NFS staff.
If you don't know about that project: Ivory Tower is working on a TDU like, they described it as a realistic open racing game, on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. We don't know more about that mysterious project (not even the codename! :( ).
 
The image is quite little (it should be used for a page that isn't up yet) but it shows what we want: car and nice landscape! :drool:
I'm in contact with some people from Ivory Studio, I should ask them about that picture! :D
 

 
My analysis:

1 - The plate must be the codename of the game. The picture is too small to read anything but still that's the thing! :cheeky:
2 - The motion blur looks better than TDU2.
3 - The interior seems to be well detailed. You can even see the driver's hands! :)
4 - The traffic seems quite important compared to TDU. But that might be related to 5.
5 - Welcome to the USA! :D The sign and the road style looks the same, let's hope that's true!
6 - Graphic effect. Quite nice if not photoshoped! :p

This guy is fantastic at making trailers - the water trails had only JUST been added in this older build, shame he couldn't wait a couple more weeks until it started looking better. Still fantastic movie-making so do watch it

There's good arcade games and there's bad ones. Codies were doing great with DiRT 2 but every racing game release since then has felt worse and generally been shipped with stupid bugs in the control and profile system. I purchased both DiRT 3, F1 2010, and DiRT Showdown and for all games combined the number of hours spent playing them would be a single digit. GRID often felt very wobbly through the wheel as well, playable if not in drifting mode but not super fun.
 
GRID 2 might be good, and hey I hope it is, you can never have too many good car games, but for all the hype those guys write in their article, they just don't seem like the type who enjoy real racing as well (if they do then they'll have to reserve their acclaims for Project CARS next year) :)
