I'm in two minds here I'll be honest. On one side, I loved how Mafia was a case of how you'd think of the Mafia in the 30's - 50's based on the likes of the Godfarther and such. And that's what I liked about it. But on the other hand this could be a nice change, late 60's New Orleans/The South is a good setting and being part of a sort of Anti-Mafia (in regards to the traditional idea of it) should be onto an interesting mix! Just hope it's got a damm good story to it! :)

New to the 'fleet' - Lexus LS400 aka "The Lexbus", "Lexembourg" or "HMS Lex-Bardge" : Sure most of you guys know of this one already. It's a year 2000 lexus LS400 (UFC20) with the VVTI 4.0 1UZ V8. in this spec it pumps out 290 Hp & 300Lb Ft and weighs in the same region of the average medium commercial aircraft. it has leather everything and genuine wood inserts in the dash, and electric everything. Also has a Sat-nav built in as standard. Back new it would have cost the equivalent of £60,000 - 65,000 in today money and cost's around the same to fuel it for 2 hours... Has been used as everything Lexus never intended it to be used from...from 'hooning' it on twisty mountain roads, drag racing and used as a tent for camping. It has 4 wheels, 4 brakes (you would't think it), a roof and allegedly has an engine but honestly think I've been walking the entire time I've had to drive it. Does have working air-con though! Worth an update i guess.... [ATTACH]23914[/ATTACH] Back in June she was on show at a "How many left" show. If less than 500 of the cars were registered in the UK then it was edible for showing. Be it new or old, was mostly for everyday cars that back in the day were common as muck but now rare to find! Took the Cappo out for the Auto testing as well for giggles. :) As you can see from the picture, the front wind is covered in primer. Finally got round to dealing with the drivers side front wing. Took a few hours but got it under control rust wise. And this is it as of last month... [ATTACH]23915[/ATTACH] Not much has changed, nope. Well i did manage to find where i was leaking water from....currently 'fixed' it by using bathroom sealant, yes... :lol:

Funny thing is,it was the Lex like a Rally car on the gravel track leading to the car park....and that included a few near off moments. :lol:

Am i the only on who saw this on the Speedhunters article... I'd take a massive guess, but considering that paragraph and the fact that MX5 rendering has the Ghost logo on it...chances are the ND MX5 is in the game?. Just a guess though, and I;m willing to bet Reb on this as well, be it DLC or on disc. ;)

My biggest hope is that 2/3's of the game doesn't get cut...Mafia 2 was going to be much bigger/better in what it was going to offer. Still, 2 had a nice story, setting and environment and is really worth a play! :)

Chance to have a TDUCK BTCC championship and all. :lol:

Other's would do it over smaller issues of it was a German car, I just like to balance the books. ;) Personally anything would make the GT/BRZ better...even just plonking 50lb ft Torques and keeping the current power would be a massive improvement. I could't see the GT platform being used for the new Supra sadly, much more the Lexus RC base. The new Supra is very likely going to be taking on the GTR & New NSX so expect the car size and Price tag to match ( Say £70k - £100k range)...but then the whole thing of a Toyota costing so much comes into account...but then again, 10 years ago I dont think we expected Nissan would offer a supercar killer for a shade under £80,000!

*Toyota. ;) Honestly, Toyota should do a tie-up with Lotus...who have plenty of experience with the Toyota V6. The GT86...with handling tweeks by Lotus and a V6 swap with 400Hp thanks to the Evora 400 state of tune! C'on Toyota you know its needs to be done! :)

Yes, but Knockhill let you stay over the Sunday night for free. :) Doesn't sound like much, but it'll be a huge hand for me. The tracks only 2 hours away, but early mornings to get there early for shows do catch up on you. Add hungover from the sat -sun and being awake from 5am to 7pm(Past 2 years experience) when you leave the track on sunday...it'll be a nice hand!

Sadly I've had to neglect this season a bit too much for my liking, things popping up last minuet & such like on Sundays. :jealous: Flatmates kept me up to date on things and likewise social media... Knockhill is sooooo going to make up for this though! Doing the full Friday - Monday weekend this year, it will be messy, i will be "rather" drunk, much banter will be had and it'll be epic! :cool:

Nothing like taking part in grassroot's motorsports. :) Always a smile and ton's of banter to be had, I've never been high up when I've done it (track days & drag) but I don it for the experience and fun. :)

There's a Yellow GT running about Aberdeen of late. It's a wrap though and rocking the normal GT86 wing! The 'oh so impreza' wing really doesn't suit it, and yellow just makes it look worse! - It's FINALLY HAPPENED! They lopped the roof off the Evora(only 3 years later than planned) and I can't make my mind up on it... It's likly to be identicle to the Evora 400, just without a roof, which is a true lot roof..as in it's bolt on/bolt off job. Full story liknk: Here

So on the Shieldaig on the west coast, and this is randomly parked at the side of the road... [ATTACH]23787[/ATTACH] Seeing a DS Safari is rare enough, seeing one out in the middle of nowhere in such good condition es even more special! It was packed to the brim as well so the owners had toured up here from France (I think that's a old french plate?). And to make it even better, that backdrop! :D
