TDU Graphics Mod - Lightbloom Effect

 

Some guy from Russia converted the graphic effects from GTAIV to Flight Simulator, now it works in TDU!

 

Features:

 

-Every option can be optimised, from blur to lightbloom

-The effect is easily installed

-You can turn it on and off in the game with Shift+F12!

-It looks awesome!

-NO FPS HIT!!!

Just copy all the files in your TDU folder, that's all.

 

Lot of the credits go to the man who extracted it from GTAIV, great work!

I put my own Configuration file in the zip, but you can change everything. Enjoy!

That is wat the effect is called. ;)

I have it for a week in TDU and over a year in FSX, no problems.. Must be your settings or hardware ;)

If you don't have Djey's Magic map, that could be your problem w/ mods. Most of them require it.

Tried it and now everytime i leave my game it says TDU has crashed would you like to submit a report. Also i have noticed a slight FPS hit & It's too powerful (writing dissapeers in bloom) Oh and after i took a photo before the mod seemed to shut itself off & i didn't even hit F12?

BTW can someone tell me how i can use this in flight simulator X?

Copy the files in the FSX root folder ;) And if the effect is to strong, just change the config file! You have to try to find your correct settings. In the readme it says what lines change what effect.

I seem to have a problem w/this mod.

 

Every time I run the game, my resolution will change to 1600 x 900 and my antistrophic filtering will go down from being x4 to 0.

 

I tried changing the resolution back to 1680 x 1050 and antistropic to x4, but then an error pops up saying that the selected settings are not compatible with my computer.

 

The mod works perfectly, but then again, it looks a bit stretched and pixaly because of the graphical change in the settings.

 

Any help/advice will be appreciated.

i don't know if it's to copy all the files or just the files that was in the 2 folders:color and quality.and i don´t know where i have to put the files i copied but anyway it's a good mod

I don't get it. There's nothing wrong with my PC (Intel e8500 and a GTX 260 SHOULD be enough...) and my game (Or is it the latest patch)? But every time I try to load up the game it doesn't even show me the Atari sign but directly crashes and wants to send an error report. I want that Mod so bad :( What am I doing wrong?

Do you really only have to unzip all the data (and the folders) into the main folder or do you have to move some things? I really can't help myself right there.

 

EDIT: Mkaaay, so after a gazillion tries it suddenly seems to work o.o

I don't get it, but anyway it looks awesome now, gonna play with the setting or so a little but thanks :D

Lawl, with SSAO too. Though I'm not gonna use just because TDU has bloom already and SSAO costs too much performance(the gta sa one at least).
