at one time i heard that GM was going to put rear wheel drive back on the new Impala SS's, but obviously they caved on that thought. too bad, because smoke should only come from the back tires, otherwise it's just not cool

Yeah, I had heard that too. it was supposed to go along with the V8, with all non-V8 versions being front wheel drive. My guess is that the engineers told the designers that they could choose one drive or the other, but not both. so the bean counters said to go with what cost the least so they wouldn't have to design a new rear drive independent suspension for it.

Very nice, looks great in black. Thats the kinda American car I like, and thats quite an impressive 0 - 60 time. Whats up with the numberplate (license plate)?

hehe, i always put the license plate down for vids and pics, and the flash on the camera reflected the plate off the waxed bumper

The KTF has landed! :p

KTF you are just mad over these :p

Well, i would have to agree with KTF, because i love my car and im planning on buying another one in even better condition with less miles (looks brand new inside and out!!!!).

95,000 and 80,000 miles! Thats barely broken in for these cars, I've heard of some that have over 200,000 miles and still run great, although the transmissions usually start to go at about 100,000 miles.

I just had my transmission completely cleaned and redone, because it was starting to go out, so yea that's a very real problem.
