UPDATE 5: Bioshock 2: GM REVIEW! Confirmed Release 09/03/10!!!!! On First Post; [16/10/09]

BioShock was easy to name. It was named BioShock. But BioShock 2 was originally known not as BioShock 2, but BioShock 2: Sea Of Dreams. Kind of naff. Which probably explains why it's been changed.

A spokesperson for BioShock publisher 2K has said "You won't be seeing ‘Sea of Dreams' moving forward, just ‘BioShock 2.". Suits us. Not only was the name a bit silly, but it's nice to know that, as we march through 2009, we won't have to write about another damn sequel with a colon halfway through its name.

While we've got your BioShock-themed attention, you should also know something else important to your potential interest in the game. Despite the revelation that BioShock 2 will feature multiplayer, you can stop hoping that means co-op, because according to 2K, the game won't have any.

After typing all of this, 2k Games then anounced that Sea Of Dreams is going to be the official title. And This weeks SentUaMessage on Xbox (23/03/09), it there was a review which i shall be posting later on tonight saying that Co-Op will be included... very confusing stuff..... check back soon for more updates.

Ok, it has definetly going to be called 'Bioshock2' not 'sea of dreams'. 2k did not want to turn Bioshock 2 into a half hearted sequeled episode. And! Also! First Look Gamplay Footage!!! VID SHOWN BELOW and enjoy :)

I'm fine with the no co-op thing cause that'll just ruin it cause in Bioshock you were on your own, no teamates whatsoever.

Yeh, co-op didnt really appeal to me.

Too much effort on something that is so iconic for single player.

 

A remember sittin for like 5days straight just gettin lost in the Rapture atmosphere.

Hope this new one will be the same-cos tbh, it cant get any better :P

Really excited about what they'll do with the underwater gameplay.

Tell me about it man. The Big Sister should be killer to fight by looks of things cos of the agility it has over you. Ave completed the original twice now.. 2nd best game ave ever played.. just hope this new one makes the expectations :thumbsup:
