So i got RRoD

Today I went down to gamestation and bought myself a new *Xbox 360 Elite* and yea.... 3 hours of gameplay and it has E74

 

 

Slow clap for microsoft?

 

I will be returning the xbox to the shop on saturday.

(however i might drive past and throw it through the window tonight :evil:)

I Know how you feel me friend, I Sent my first xbox away for the RRod got it back, Pluged it in, Turned the Xbox on........Insantly RRod >:-l, So now im on my forth xbox

Not bad for 3 hours of gameplay. "Elite".. yea.. sure.

 

At least they should exchange it, it's the shortest length of time I've ever seen a 360 last for.

The Elite is the same as all the others in the 360 line up, it's just in a black box and comes bundled with a bigger HDD. The Elite used to be better than the rest as it had better heat sinks, cooler chips and HDMI output, these features have gradually made it into the other consoles. If the sole reason you have for buying an Elite was the hope of an increased lifespan, don't count on it.

I got the E74 too, twice. after fixing it the box lasted a week till it broke again :-x

 

Going to buy a new Arcade box tomorrow maybe.
