Dredgy: TDU Performance Editor [Car Database 2.1 Released]

When I'm starting TDU Editor, it says first, that the TDU Database couldn't be found.

 

Go to Settings->Installation Directory

Change it to X:\your\tdu\path\

Remember the trailing backslash.

I have then same problem like barti:(... Anybody can help me? I've tried out to run TDU as administrator and set the compatibility to Windows XP SP3, but it doesn't work either.

That's do to with the car model itself, not physics.

I double click on the exe of TDUUT and nothing happens. Is it normal with this tool.

For TDUUT you need to drag the file you want to convert or decrypt onto the .exe.

You are using the wrong tool.

 

Download TDUPE instead of TDUUT, and play around in that. Wheel size is a delicate thing and I don't think you can realy change it.

Change what you want changed, then click the Save Car button, THEN click File, Save, in the upper left corner.

hey dredgy nice tool but after i have install win7 64bit i dont really can use tdupe in tdu(online). i have change the confic and the install directory(D:games/Atari/Test Drive Unlimited) from tdupe. i can change all things but when i start TDU(online) i drive a few seconds and it says "game diconnect because incorrect settings". what must i do to fix it ?

This tool is designed for offline use only, therefore should not be used online. If you do use it online, you do so at your own risk.

You only need to restore the DB.bnk file. With that, you remove all the installed physics and cameras.

If you didn't make a backup of your original DB.bnk file before you started making changes, then the only way you can go back to defaults is by re-installing the game.

You don't need to configure that, any configuration necessary is now done in the program, under the Settings menu.
