Hello.

Yesterday I have bought myself TDU. I have a few questions about it and I would like to get an answer before I do something stupid.

1. If I have original TDU and I install the car megapack (found on google...not purchased) would i still be able to play online?

2. Which of the following physics modification gets me kicked from the server?

Gear Ratios, Engine Inertia, Gearbox Inertia, Everything related to the datasheet, turbocharged or not, car name, acceleration, torque balance, drive type, gearbox type.

 

I would be grateful if I would get a quick asnwer because I can't wait to play online.:twisted::D

No. You need the legal megapack.

Related to megapack: actually i've read that if you dl the megapack from somewhere esle and just put your original tdu serial it would work.

I wonder if it's possible.

No, it doesn't. Just tried then. The megapack requires a separate serial which you get when you download it. Plus, it's illegal.

We don't permit discussions relating to warez or acquiring files and such in a non-legit manner. We are a TDU community and support the game by purchasing it and it's addons. :)

 

You have the answers to your questions from dredgy also. Though just to clarify the situation the Megapack requires a Multiplayer Key which is given on purchase of the pack itself.

Yea, thanks I got the idea from dredgy. But the point is i never asked anyone to help me play online with the non-original megapack.(like tWm insinuated):p

Is it possible to have 2 TDU's installed(one original and one not) and still be able to play both?

yes it is just copy your files, and then click on the desired exe file.

As I've done some searches on the forum and didn't find anything I decided to post here.

So i got a problem going online...I get an error relating to a Network Problem and tells me to check my network settings.

Yes, I have legal version of TDU, 1.66A installed, but I don't have the megapack installed.:crying:

No. I don't own the megapack so I want to play online without it.

Is it something related to firewall:confused:

Perhaps you have TDU not on the windows software firewall exceptions list? Or if you got a router or a hardware firewall that could be a problem too!

Well I have an original game and a legit megapack and have three directories. One for backup, one for online and one for offline. I also have TDU Modding Tool's and TDU PE working seperately for each, so it's not a problem at all as long as you know what you are doing.

 

You don't need to have the megapack installed to go online. It can be done without it.

I know that. And yes TDU is on my windows firewall exceptions list. But I have a HUAWEI Echo-Life HG520 modem, perhaps this has a firewall too?:(
