Since you're good with Ferrari screamers, and the Hakosuka is also a screamer, this should be a good project for you.

 

I would even be happy with a straight conversion of the GT Legends or Forza 3 sounds if someone could find a way to convert them.

Ok, I've made 3 different versions based on 3 different videos including the one you posted. Need a bit of time to enhance these and I will release.

Sounds good but I have already 2 f430 sound mods in preparation and a lot of sound mods for it exist already so I don't think I will do it soon...

It was made for the 300 SL slot, but I put it on the DB4 Zagato slot and made my own physics for it to match the real car's specs.

 

The real car (S20 engine) makes it's max horsepower at 7000 rpm, and from what I've been able to find out, it redlines between 7500 and 8000. So the sound needs to go that high to sound right ingame.

You can find some nice kickass onboard sounds for Ferrari 458 Italia on Ferraris special 458 site. Take a look at here: http://speciali.ferrari.com/458italia/index_en.html

Go to the download and there you can find the sounds "Off the line" and "Onboard". Those would be great for terzers coming mod.
