Any one get the feeling that offroading could....suck?

Cayenne couldn't do that. Being good offroad is due to being designed to go offroad, and is not achieved by adding gismos to to an oversized car to justify a stupidly big school-run special having 4WD...

 

Great, now I want that level of detail for offroad in TDU2... curses

Actually i think a Cayenne could,or at least it off road tires it could.

Unlike the bmw x5,audi q7 or the Ml,the cayenne uses a real 4wd system,like a dicovery,which features two locking differentials and low range.Skid plates and height adjustability are also options.

I love that they put offroading in the game... I love it A LOT. But we need stuff like this...

Well street puddles are "confirmed", there's muddy cars, and (OK grasping) but there is a couple of deep water concept-art pics, so concerning deeper puddles/mud.. maybe, who knows. (For sure a good way to toughen up the wreck hunting) X).

We have 2 confirmed: Q7 V12 TDI and ML63 AMG (by trailermaterial and as a signature 'hint' of Badned quite some months ago)

... and both are poor off-road vehicles. Those are city SUVs. Some girl at my high school has a Q7 and I've taken a ride in it and it's not meant for that type of terrain, I can tell you that. We need pickups, Jeeps.

But TDU2 has poor offroad trails. I know what's worth doing, is worth overdoing, but I don't know if that also means we need the most extreme offroading vehicles on the planet in TDU2, whereas normal cars will do fine.

yeah, why not? since they are both island locales, we could probably find a few cliffs to challenge ourselves with.

 

of course, what would be sick is to make a "Follow the leader" challenge with something like that.

Ive been in the Stresstest and tbh, the offroading is quite good, only certain cars have grip on there, you use a ford GT on there and you skid everywhere, i think the offroading is quite good :)
