Why are they only getting hold of it now, or is this a marketing thing whereby Atari have acquired the service of these promoting the game now that the carlist is out.

Hope so - same here (my personal favorite car mag; it just has more soul than the others). I'll wait anyway to see, because I enjoy seeing all my monthly car news (aside from Jalopnik) in one big chunk.

Wide Open Throttle is the section of the Motor Trend forums where TDU2 was featured. The only thing MT has covered is the Audi trailer. What's worse, that trailer was posted in the WOT section over 2 weeks ago and their Facebook has chosen to wait until now to cover it.
