Ie been enjoying the game thus far, but I just got into the SUV champio thing, and I really must say that they've done more damage than good. Sure, it's more content, but those races are also a monotonous chore. I just wanna get back in my Lancia. Anyone else finding this torturous?

The SUVs are kind of nice, they don't have much feeling to them and the handling is very unstable but I enjoyed most of them. Except of course th Touareg, perhaps because I already experienced the real car. My uncle had a Volkswagen Touareg 3.0 V6 TDI and the car is amazing. It has lots and lots of power, so when I get to the game and I see that that the car sounds like a vacuum cleaner and doesn't really have any power, its really, really disappointing, and plus the one in the game is 5.0 V10, its supposed to be even more powerfull.

I like 'em, cuz it's a nice difference from these koenigseggs and ferraris. And for the championships, these time trials are a real pain in the arse, but when you'll drive the track once, you know where you can cut, which helps a lot. After a few retries, I had a 5 sec advantage.

I'd most definitely agree with you there, that machine in game is an absolute piece. I haven't done the SUV races yet as I am still cruising round looking for the UK dealer so I can buy a Range Sport as I reckon this is slightly less rubbish.

I think it's a nice addition though, how many other games have it? I think bombing round the country with a few mates might be a right laugh actually.

The Rangey is one of the less good SUVs in the game in my opinion.

I think that SUVs are a good addon to the game, makes a good contrast the usual boring stuff that is in every game released.

I have 300kms on my H3, the best car I've driven in game so far. :)

Hmm, I looked at the H3, but I'm not so keen on owning one. I've just found the British dealer, so I'm gonna test the Range and then the Hummer. Thanks for the info though.

Range Rover is a good SUV, I bought it "second handed" :D and it was good, but I sold it after a duel with Ryan (or Chris, whatever). BUT! The one car that I would pick to drive in terrain for fun is Subaru Impreza, it's just so much fun! Slides like hell! :p

the Rover is a fun car, just make sure you cruise around and unlock the tuner shops so you can gain that handy advantage in speed, acceleration and braking. personally, having driven several H3's here in the states at my job in a dealership, i wont even touch the H3 ingame. its just a personal thing, i dont like them at all.

and as Ghost said above, the Subaru WRX is one hell of a fun car to cruise/rally around in. does some great powerslides on dirt or pavement.

I'd keep the SUV's, even though I haven't played it yet.

They're what makes TDU2 different from games like NFS.

But, I'd rather drive the WRX and slap on some liveries than drive a big, heavy 4x4 SUV.

I sold all my suvs and took wrx sti.Reason why these 4x4s are not that good is because they are not real offroaders. However I am thinking of getting q7 like a replacment for saloons,as there isn't any lux saloon in game.

I've actually really been enjoying the SUVs off road, I've got both the RR Sport and the Touareg and they both feel very easy to drive, no complaints from me, great addition.

I love the SUVs, I think they were a great addition to the game. Granted, I use the RR for cruising more than off-road, and the Lancia Delta felt like it was a better off-road car, and I did get sick of the long off-road races while I was doing them... but after spending ages driving an S3 and Golf GTI on roads, escaping to the dirt again in the RR is a great relief.
