The X360 version looks a bit crappy tbh and me playing on a TV that's 10 years old doesn't make it any better :lol: I can barely see other people.

I had a brilliant moment last night with 2 snipers who were perched on the little island in the water. I sneaked up behind them and knifed both of them. Felt so good hunting them down and killing them that way. :evil:

Seeing as the Beta is finished now I went back to BF1943 and was disappointed to feel how light and CoD like your character moves and feels in BF3 compared to it. It's funny also seeing the amount of Recent Players who are back playing CoD though it was also good to see a good number of them playing BC2 also.

Yea, I joined you on 43 last night and it felt really weird, although that may of been down the the really bad lag I was suffering. Try to walk forward and you slide backwards further than you went forward. >.<

 

No BF3 for over 2 weeks now. :(

For those that will be playing on 360, there is a "high-res" texture pack if you install the game to your hard drive. Keep in mind this is on two DVD's.

The beta was installed to my HDD, there was nothing high res about that... Nice to see them going to the effort though and I'll definitely install it, anything to help improve it.

The full game will be running the most recent optimised and polished code so should look a bit better than the beta, not that i had a problem with it though. At least that's what one of their blogs said.

 

Still a good idea though for the install.

I'll use that option also though I have to say the visuals didn't bother me in the Beta apart from some of the sandbags but then again I only saw them when covering or jumping over them anyway. :)

Did you ever have the problem where you jumped over them and you kinda exploded and flew in the air? It's quite funny until you have to wait to spawn again.

No, but I had the issue where my guy wouldn't jump, he would just stay in front of the obstruction or float on top of it.

:hmmm: That'd be a bit annoying. The only annoying bug I had was after sprinting you couldn't aim without changing weapons.

After playing the Beta I was worried about CoD movement with your character but after reading an article on Joystiq and also seeing the below video, I'm no longer worried and cannot wait for some BF madness. Been playing BF1943 again and when you get a great team together on both sides the battles are *jeremy clarkson* assssstonnnnnnishing. :D

That is a really awesome video. Thanks for sharing. That rain adds an extra dimension too with the screen particles and whatnot.
