Message From The Team

"...The last two weeks have been hectic. After fixing the damage that Mr. Rossi inflicted at Sebring, we found out that it was worse than suspected. Needed to replace a front srping and damper. Having repaired them, we headed off to the Goodwood Festival of Speed. As soon as the doors of the FoS closed to the public, we shipped the car out to Germany for the Hocknhiemring Historc event, we had soo little time to get out there, the FoS stickers were still on the car.

We have to give the car a good service as it's really running rough. We will get to it after Germany."

Gonna try something different. As many may have noticed, the stickers on the 300 S keep changing, mainly th numbers. So something i've decided to do is to add a little comment from a team member who helps run the car. Gonna turn it into a little story with these snippets. Will do the same with some of the other historic cars I get in the future.

I'm also trying Flickr as a place to upload clikable images. ArmedCats will still host the preview though. I'll see how it goes.

Here's a different car then.

Message From The Team

"...The Jaguar E-Type was the first classic car racecar we bought. In the 80's it was a project that someone started but never finished. The Jaguar E-Type has been a racing staple for over 50 years now, so it makes sense to buy one to start out. Several loving hours were put into the car to get it to the condition it is in today. It is now the cornerstone of our historc racing and event calendar, it goes all over the world to participate in events with it's own dedicated crew.

We are on the lookout for more cars to add to out collection."

Message From The Team

"...When the opportunity arose to test a Ferrari 330 P4, we jumped at the chance. The team flew out to Sonoma California in the USA to meet with its owner. He had restored the car to near mint condition as it would have looked like in 1967. We had to arrive at the Infineon Raceway nice and early to have a go, as there was a race scheduled for midday. The test went swimmingly for us...

...Up until a certain point."

Message From The Team

"...With the Maserati 300 S still in the garage after finding some more things wrong during its service, we found a neat little car for our younger team members to prep and race. An Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA, a very nippy little car designed for touring car racing wich won races everwhere it went. This opportunity to race this car will give out younger members experience to graduate to our bigger and more complex cars"

Back on Track

Message From The Team

"...We finally got the Maserati back from its service. While it was at the garage we thought something wrong with the engine. After taking the engine out of the car to try and diagnose the problem, we found out that only a head gasket needed replacing.

A fan managed to snap a shot of the car while it was making its track return."

I have changed a few small details on the car. The number font is different after I found a classic looking font on the Storefront. I also changed the number plate from TXE 773 to TXE 774 after I changed the font there too, 4 was easier to make than 3.

Jaguar D-Type

Message From The Team

"... A Jaguar D-Type appeared on the market, we jumped at the chance to buy it. Ever since we stared the team we have been looking out for a D-Type. While this version isn't the Le-Mans version with the longer nose and fin, it's still a perfect car for racing.

When we bought it, we found it had a rusty and cracked exhaust. We replace it with a newer modern one, the car now runs perfectly."

Road Atlanta Classic

Message From The Team

"... Jaguar D-Type had it's first event recently. With lots of anticipation by the crew and crowd at Road Atlanta, the car took to the track only to break down goinf round the first turn. We later sourced the problem to faulty spark plugs, but it made us cautious all day. We didn't push the car to the max in the race, so we finished near the bottom of the field.

On the other hand, the car drives beautifully... When it's working."

Message From The Team

"...We decided the next car we were going to buy would be American. After weeks and weeks of searching, we found a reasonably priced car in a Chevrolet Nova. While it needed bodywork repairs the engine was strong and in good condition. After a few weeks in the shop, it's now in racing conditoion ready for any Trans Am like series.

Driving it is a completely different experience."
