Sydney's All Japan Day 2011 and Mopar Rumble 2011 shows.

Hey guys, I went to 2 car shows last weekend, got the photos developed today, thought i'd share some with you.

Day 1- Mopar Rumble.

A bit meh really, not a big turnout. Mostly Australian Mopar's, but there was the beautiful purple Coronet (right?), the few Challengers, the beautiful Aussie Valiant Charger (powered by straight 6 engines, they sound amazing) and the stupendously rare Coronet Super Bee that turned up just as we were heading home.

Day 2- All Japan Day.

This was the one I was really looking forward to. The show is usually held in Melbourne, but for the first time, they moved it to Sydney- to great success.

In all directions there was something awesome to be seen. From the beaten up weekend warriors to the rare 1971 Nissan 'Hakosuka' Skyline GTR.

So yeah, I had a freakin great weekend, hope I didnt bore you to death with my wall of photos. There are more, btw. Heres a link to my flicker :)

In case you were wondering, I use a late 90's Pentax SLR (see: uses film- not a DSLR). I only touched the photos up in photoshop, no special effects or major cropping.

Thanks, I love the graniness as well Leadfoot.

Hah, well Dad does have a Canon Eos, but I dont like using it because its not mine. Worried about dropping it. My girlfriend has a nice bridge camera, but I dont like the lack of a focus ring etc. Mum has a crappy old digital compact camera, my phone's camera is crappy. I'll be buying some sort of DSLR next year hopefully.

:) thanks milleh, nice to see you excited ahah.

And just thanks again to everyone :)

ISO was probably too high, certainly didnt add any noise. I like the graininess though.

Thats just Bosozoku for ya milli, the whole style is based on silhouette racers and such. Over the top bodykits, huge fender flares, headlight covers, exposed oil coolers (thats not an intercooler on the front). I would take the silver one over at one though, i'm not so into Bosozoku. I appreciate the dedication and effort that goes into the cars though, as silly as the end product is.
