Yeah, esp since I barely use the Gold features. I'm definitely not getting what I pay for. Last time I played FM4 online I just got a bunch of people lagging and crashing into me. I've had much better experiences playing online for free on PC and PS3.

That's $84AU mind you, which is $85US. Also I do recognize they've always had ads, it's just that now it's more annoying. Also they've put them in Xbox.com now and my adblock I use on that site won't work on them.

I don't really like it.

It does all load faster, but now I have to navigate more menus to get to where and what I want. Finding the game marketplace the first time was pretty confusing... its so illogical now.

 

Its great to have YouTube options and future things like BBC iplayer. But at the end of the day my xbox is used primarily for gaming, so why do we need all this extra crap!

Surely it would work better if they streamlined it rather than making it all bigger and more complex.

I like the idea of getting iPlayer and youtube through the box but like most people the adverts are just too in your face now, before they were easily skippable and missed but now they feel like they are in a 'you have to see me' placement and for a service we pay for for what it actually entails it seems really cheeky and even insulting to have them where they now are.

It confused me right from the start :lol:

 

I don't like how the game icon (to play the game thats in) is an indistinguishable little box at the side, I would have thought it was more important than that. :confused:
