wip Badman's Custom Radio Guide

For those that are interested i'll make a little video guide to putting your own music in tdu 2. No point in going through the trouble if no one is has any interest. Hope for some responses by saturday then i'll make the video saturday evening ;)

Yes I have recently (recently? nearly 2 or 3 weeks ago, lol) done the same here, but what I'm wondering is how to rename a song (I presume that if you rename the bnk then the game will run into problems) and how to change the length of a song so it doesn't get prematurely cut out by the DJs.

i think it has to to with the setup.xmb file, don't mind the tracks being cut off prematurely to be honest, most real radio stations do that anyway so it gives off that authentic feeling. I'm going to try messing around a bit and see if i can find a way to change the song titles somehow, or if anyone has found a way and is reading this feel free to respond :)

Is this a new Radio Channel where i can my music put in or must the files from Haribo radio replace?

No but the problem is for me the songs get cut off nearly 2/3 of the way through. Sure DJs usually cut out songs 2 or 3 seconds before they end, but two-thirds through is meh

wow lol all the tracks that i put on so far have been cut off with 10 seconds to go or less, then again there are like 30+ tracks and havent been through them all yet

Yeah I've deduced that in the setup.xmb file there are values that determine how long a particular song goes before ending or when it starts. Hope we get an XMB reader or editor s**n :3

yeah hopefully i don't get why they felt the need to crypt the radio xmb file :( lol

I tried that too, sadly the DJ's cut my songs and after some time the radio gets silented:mhmm:

i think you have to find a song with the closest time duration with the song your replacing to keep that from happening but i don't have the time or patience to go on that kind of hunt though.
