I'm there saturday till monday. Anyone else around?

A buddy and me hooked up with a raceteam to cover the 24h for them. So we're with the #94 BMW E46 M3 (SP6) and the #133 Nesco Group BMW E36 325 (SP4), so cheer for them! :cheeky:

oh dear, the camera is locked once again.

I never understood this, it happens every year.

I can understand they can't run a helicopter or have cameraman standing around all day long (lemans do it but whatever)

but why can't the director stay around? the onboard cameras are on and there are several stationary cameras around the track.

And then they complain about how this race doesn't get as much publicity as lemans...

It is much more entertaining than lemans for sure.

I wish it was as popular.

what a last half an hour performance by BMW Sports Trophy Team!

they beat the best lap of the race by 8 seconds and closed the 20 second gap between 2nd and 3rd, they're now in 2nd position.

Unbelievable.

I must have seen you as i was almost on the same spot :lol:

Our cars did well. All 3 of them finished. Although one got hit in the first lap (!) and hit the barrier very hard. Car got back in the paddock 2 hours later and they only finished repairing it one hour before the restart.

Fuchsröhre, 30/40 minutes before the race got red flagged. Quite some fog down there. And the spray from the rain made it worse. There were rivers over the track everywhere.

Mercedes got the race? I thought it was Schneider on the R8 (I saw only 2 laps, 10 min of race left), at least that's what the official website said
