RIP Tom Clancy (yeah him). 66 years old

Many of you will recognise this name immediately and for those of you who don't you will definitely know some his work, not only in games but also in books and the films that were based on them (The Jack Ryan Show!). He was a man who could definitely make you feel the action and you knew the story was never going to quite go the way you predicted. As for the games, think Rainbow Six, Splinter Cell and the like and you can see why his name is and was synonymous with top class espionage thrillers and gameplay.

Oh jeez no way? I love his work, thoroughly enjoyed all the games he's been a part of, and Rainbow 6 is one of my favourite novels. So young, what a shame... RIP.

Never read any of his books but enjoyed all the games carrying his name. He will be missed, RIP :(
