*BOOM HEADSHOT* Activision killing off Call of Duty ELITE [destructoid]

Activision are killing off their Premium Subscription service Call of Duty: ELITE. The service started with Modern Warfare 3 but is now being shot several times and left to die this coming Friday 28th February.

 

 

Call of Duty Elite is going away on February 28, 2014 and it's not coming back. The service started with Modern Warfare 3 and gave players early DLC access, clan management, in-depth stat tracking, and the like. Many of these features went free with Black Ops II.

 

Activision has posted a shutdown FAQ, viewable here, offering specifics.

*seriously, am i the only one that actually likes the franchise? i like the modern warfare trilogy a lot.

CoD 4 was good but then it just stuck to the same formula, kept the same engine (hardly innovated), upped the normal price, milked with the DLC and only seemed to listen to those who are actually not old enough and meant to be playing the game in the first place. I always felt the mutiplayer moved and felt like DooM sped up, just not my thing basically.

Exactly its been the same game since Modern Warfare and i never really like it, too much arcadeish for me
