Spotted in a post the official Japan Xbox website which has since been taken down, the screenshots confirm that weather effects (including 3D puddles) and night racing, two of the most frequently-requested features for Forza, will feature in Forza Motorsport 6, which isn't surprising given their inclusion in Forza Horizon 2. - See more at: Veni Vidi Vici - Forza Motorsport 6...

Maybe. We always expected these features given the frosty reception FM5 got. T10 have previously confirmed they're sticking with locked 60FPS (good) so that may be what locks out other features. Possibly they're leveraging DX12 code-fu this time.

Will we also get larger Ai grids and pit stops?

I'm happy to see weather & nighttime added but at the same time, I'm scared because something definitely had to be cut if they want to keep it locked at 60fps. 450-ish cars sounds good.

FM5 just felt like a rushed game, which it more than likely was. But now that T10 have had more time with the Xbone and more experience they know what can and can't be done. And it sounds like FM6 is what 5 should have been, a proper game to showcase what the console can do.

Now this sounds a lot more promising, I just can't get into FM5 at all, not when 95% of the car list seems to be DLC  It's about time we got weather and night racing, if FM6 didn't have this then it would be a flop I think... 450 cars sounds good, bearing in mind after all the DLC they'll release for it it could be getting on for 550+ cars by then which isn't too far off FM4.

I'd take that with a pinch of salt tbh. Release dates always get "leaked" on retailer sites and more often than not, they're not correct.

But I guess we'll find out soon enough at EEE.
