PSA: How to play TDU2 unpacked game directly from Steam!

Basically, the launcher exe is hardcoded into the Steam file, but it's actually only the name. So, put your Universal Launcher in your main TDU2 folder and rename it UpLauncher, but rename the actual UpLauncher to something else first. Voila!

I was looking around for this solution and instantaneously I found it here. Simple but great advice. :clap::clap::clap::clap:

 

Now I could have the benefit of steam (chatting, friendship, screenshots and gaming hours, etc) with the universal launcher.:nuts::nuts:
