hey guys do any of you know a good pc driving game that will let you progress or drive F1 cars... i got the lewis hamilton mania going on and NEED a good game 2 play?

You didn't mention GT Legends ;). Theres nothing else like driving cars like the GT40 around your local racing circuit in a game :D

'Need For Speed Most Wanted' - normal or 'Black Edition' is very good, even if it isn't the newest one.... :) It's mile better than carbon which is completable in around 4 - 5 hours!

Not a big fan of NFS but some of it is ok. I think it all went bad after the underground series because Porsche 2000 and hot pursuit were great games when they came out. Shame it has all gone bad :(

Hot Pursuit, i played that game for years, couldn't get enough of driving around there!

nfs hot pursuit - got addicted to that game when i still played it on Playstation.

 

nfs hot pursuit - the best nfs for me if you want to drive f50's and clk gtr's.

 

nfs most wanted - was the best of the "tuner" series of nfs. graphics were good and i love the M3!

 

 

underground was okay because it was new. underground 2, hated it. carbon, wtf? looking forward to pro street though.

I've never played any of the old Need For Speed series or the Test Drive ones. Are they any good?

The Old NFS games were heaps better than the new ones, but the same can't be said for the Test Drive ones IMO

Old post but still:

The gameplay (in the newer NFS') is directed to people as the same as the wii. It's only good to play when you're drunk at a party.

 

The old NFS' were much more enjoyable, and point to point races were the thing. You got to drive awesome concept cars, they actually had an IN-CAR view, and the whole dynamics of the game was about fun. Now that has shifted, to "just so you can be the best"

GTR's were amazing. That is a real game. Now only to get this test drive game to work on the laptop and Ill see what TDU has to offer.

 

I have porsche unleashed, amazing game as well. So many mods and such available. Addons, new cars, editing tools are a blast too.

 

Never played Hot Pursuit or most wanted though, mabey I should :)

 

Carbon was terrible

underground 2 was terrible

ummmmm NFS:MS, i copmpleted carbon in like 5 hours and MW is loads better

umm TDU i spose

GTR2 and some mods for GTR2, like TSS said, nothing like driving a GT40 round your local (Donnington park for me cuz im a pro like that :P)

and things like Rfactor, you can only rly play LFS with a 900 degree wheel, if you have a DFP or G25 or one of those flash porka wheels then use that

 

i spose F1 is alright aswell

i was playing carbon with a friend a long long time ago. we tried to make a record of how many cops can chase us . we got 130 cops . are wheels were messed up since we hip 4 spike strips...
