Gran Turismo 5 (cheap on ebay)

I have been looking on ebay and gran turismo 5 for the ps3 is going cheap at aunder £30 including postage and packaging, but there from japan or canada, if i buy one will it be able to play on a european ps3?

Not entirely sure mike, I don't think it's region locked as many people have ordered the BD from Japan and it's worked for them with no issues. I'll see what I can find though!

Yeah but the GT community is big and you can find translated screenshots and PDF files.

You can change language in-game (well i take it you can, can every other game) and who cares about packaging.

can't you download Prologue from your PS3? my friend has it.

GT5 Prologue is basically a small portion of what GT5 will be, yes it's stupid that they charge full price for it but for what you get it's not exactly a demo either as it's own game and will be constantly updated with new features that the developers want to test out and implement in the final game. Hence why online is available now as is some of the car sounds have been improved and so on.

 

Mike having a look around it appears the game is not region locked and will play on any PS3 console.

As long as they have made the car sound like a car should. I hated the engine noise of previous GT games.
