Im not sure, from experiance, the french cant build a staight road, every journey is a slalom, well by me anyway, so he should be used to taking corners!

 

And the police (gendarms) come out in force around 2ish as the french normally have alot of wine with there lunch, theres 2 hours standard lunch, 12-2, so theres enough time to get a bit tipsy in that, he might of been doing the same
