GT5 vs GRID

GRID is a joke of a game imo, I hate remembering that this is the way the ToCA series went.

Only 2 things I liked about it and they're not even close to even making me consider buying.

* Graphics are exceptional

* Crashes and damage are amazing

The rest is complete dross though. Again imo but then I preferred ToCA (apart from the 3rd where they used fake liveries) to the lot of them anyway.

thats the point gt games have always promised to be realistic you tell me whats realistic about a noob running along the wall on the outside of a corner at 150mph and overtaking you then when youve tried doing that in grid come back and speak to me the truth is that grid is more of a simulator than gt nad if tdu had damage well that would be better than both

Well guess we'll have to wait for the full version of GT5 to be released and then we can do a real comparison . Drifting and if you like damage and different genres of racing then GRID is the way to go other then that its GT5 for me .

+1 and there are some people here calling it a simulator ROFL

I wish companys who made game engines worked together and just produced a damn good engine that is decent at everything.

I can't critic GT5 because I have never played it.

I don't see how you can put them up against each other, they're two completely different games.

Gran Turismo 5 = Race Car Simulator

Race Driver GRiD = An arcade-ish fail of a game that brought down a great racing franchise through being aimed at kids and Tokyo Drift fanboys.

And everyone says the game is so much different to the demo. I hated the physics in the demo, so I rented the game (luckily) and I hated the physics in that. They felt no different at all, it's still VERY easy to pull off 10 mil drifts in it.

To be less mean to GRiD, the games can't be compared because GT is a racing simulator, GRiD is an arcade racing game.
