Movie Recommendations!

Haven't seen a thread like this yet, post up movies that you have seen and would recommend to the rest of us :)

 

My first recommendation is Hancock, it's just had me sat here for 90 minutes in awe, absolutely brilliant movie.

 

Next up I would recommend Wanted, although it's not as good as I hoped due to the fact that

Angelina Jolie's character 'Fox' commits suicide...

(do NOT highlight unless you want a major story spoiler.)

 

Anyone like to suggest anything? :D

I havnt seen many films lately. But I'm hoping to drag Speed, Sensei and others along to Hancock sometime :p Before they urh, "go to see it over the internet".

These ones aren't new, but I think are still well worth seeing.

 

Son Of Rambow - Lovely story with loads of comedy. 7/10

 

Cloverfield - Well I loved it. 6/10

 

Casino Royale - Bond films have declined over the years, but this one shoves its way back up to the top. Excellent. 9/10

 

Stranger Than Fiction - Very well written, and very well acted. Quite deep I thought. 7/10

 

Oceans 11 and 13 - Both much better than 12. 6.5/10

 

Hot Fuzz - Who hasn't seen this awesomeness? 10/10

 

21 - Pretty good I thought. 5/10

Watched Kill Bill 1 yesterday, seen it a few times before but really like that film. Anyone know if the secound is being shown on BBC 1 aswell?

 

Hancock for me is going to be a film I watch when it comes to Sky Movies or maybe box office.

If BBC showed Kill Bill 1, just keep checking the scheduele for the next week, they usually work it like that from what I have seen.

 

Trust me, Hancock will be worth the wait, make sure you pull out the phone cord, shut the curtains, turn off your mobile, have a big bowl of popcorn and make sure you use the bathroom before sitting down to watch it :D

Recently seen Elizabeth the Golden age, not normally my type of film, but the first film "Elizabeth" was brilliant, so i watched this one, id say 8/10

Hancock isn't really what I expected, still good but I didn't really like the plot behind it all and some major plot holes confused me :oook:

 

Wanted is better imo, because I like how quickly the plot moves along and just seems to flow really nicely :D

Of the recent releases, Wanted looks crap, 21 wasnt bad. But I really really want to watch Kung Fu Panda, Zohan and Get Smart. Oh and The Dark Knight :excited:

Kung Fu Panda is a good movie to watch, but I won't be watching it again :rolleyes: (someone mentioned it before).

Saw Hancock today, pretty good film, nice twist and turns in the film, but I watched to many previews of the film and it ruined too much for me! So I didn't laugh at certain parts because I seen them already, no more previews for me! :)

Last film I went to see was Wanted and I got in to see it at the cinema with some careful planning :p

 

I hope to see the new Batman film when it comes out as it looks good especially when it includes an LP640 ;)
